Mirador de Big Walker

Staff was great gave us late check out because we had our dog at VATech for procedure.

This is a wonderful Bed & Breakfast that truly made us feel at home away from home. The house we stayed in had three rooms and a shared kitchen, which was fully equipped with everything we needed—including great coffee! The location is excellent, right next to downtown Blacksburg, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Virginia Tech’s campus is also very close, and we enjoyed walking to both. My wife and I would highly recommend this place to anyone planning to visit Blacksburg or Virginia Tech University. It has a much warmer, more welcoming, and more personal feel than staying at a hotel. We really enjoyed our stay!

It was convenient and inexpensive and the breakfast waffles were pretty good but- The back door didn't lock properly and the door to our room looked like it had been recently jimmied. It was hot as you know where and the pool looked delightful-just like the ad- but it was closed for the season-in August.
