Located in a 2 acre private lot on a warm southern facing slope of the Big Sky ski area, with panoramic views.

Casa Big Sky is a two story private chalet with total built area of approximately 4,000 square feet set in the Cascade subdivision of the Mountain Village of Big Sky , commanding panoramic and unobstructed views of Lone Peak and the Big Sky and Moonlight Basin Ski Area.

The owners, who divide their time between Chile, Thailand and Montana, use the upper floor primarily during the ski season. When not in residence the entire home can be rented as a single unit. Because we use - and keep many of our personal possessions in the upper floor - we do ask out guests to be both aware of this and also respectful of our possessions. The lower floor, which can be closed off from the main house as a self contained apartment, is available for rent at most times of the year (there are no owners personal items on this level). Rental of the whole house includes the lower apartment as well as the upper levels. There will never be 2 groups of guests staying.

Guest access - You will have access to all parts of the house ( save the office where many of the owners possessions will be stored while they are away), but as noted above, the upper level of the house still is our personal residence for half of each year and as such you will still find some personal items in some closets and storage areas on the upper level.

If your group size is larger than 9 persons, we can optionally offer the 5th bedroom / office / Queen futon room. Note however that 25% of the room space will be occupied by storage boxes with the owners personal possessions. There would be a 10% upcharge on the rental for adding this room.
