After a great day at the slopes, you will look forward to coming home to your new cabin and sitting by the fireplace or lounging in the outdoor hot tub. The property has 4 spacious bedrooms and features one king bed, three queen beds plus a sleeper sofa. In the summer you will be close to both the lake and village for nightlife and shopping. Kids and adults with love the spacious game room which features a pool table, flat screen tv, and sitting area. Maximum occupancy 10 adults + 4 kids, 14 in total. LIC# VRR-2022-0184

BARE MINIMUM

For a house for 14 people would be good if enough hand soaps, blankets and pillows where provided or at least warn about the lack of them. A more thorough clean would be also recommended. All and all, great place, great location.

Great house in great location!

The house is very nice and in great location, pretty close to the main street, and within walking distance to the lift! The house layout was also nice, and very clean. Wasn’t sure how to get the oven working, and the Checkin was strange for us to have to pick up key in a different location vs an access code or something. Overall great experience and would definitely stay here again!

Great open family room and kitchen area

Cabin had enough space for everyone and was super spacious downstairs. Kitchen was well stocked and had enough silverware and plates for all 10 of us. Garage was great and very clean. Could have used more hand towels and wash cloths in each bathroom. Listing says you will be given enough towels for everyone in your group but we were lacking hand towels and wash cloths. Also, there are no bath mats or towels to put down when you get out of the shower and it can be slippery on wet tile floor. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were only on one bathroom and very small bottles. Enough for one person. Floors and upstairs couch needed vacuuming and sweeping but there wasn’t a vacuum or dustpan. Overall, our group had an amazing time here and we said we would definitely rent here again. Just need some minor adjustments and this place would get 5 stars.

Super ubicación y amplia pero falta mantenimiento

Me parece que le falta mantenimiento a la cabaña y limpieza más profunda. el jacuzzi esta prendido 24/7 y el agua estaba verde. Tienen una fuga en un lavamanos, la reportamos y nadie fue a arreglarla, el agua en la regadera del cuarto principal no sale tan caliente. Dice que es para 12 personas pero solo hay 1 cama King y 3 Queen. en área común tiene un sofa cama

Unclean over rated

Found hair in beds as if weren’t changed. Shower never got warm. They charge you per bag of trash. Cable tv and Wi-Fi didn’t work properly. Was just a house very much over priced.

Family snow trip

We had 12 family members looking for snow. We had a blast, the place was awesome, clean and new. It was everything we wanted, but I will NOT ever rent again unless they stop using Five Star Vacation. I showed up at some upstairs business room with a taped paper on the door that said gone to deliver something to another property call this number. I did, she said she was 2 minutes away. 35 minutes later I called again, lady said 5 minutes away lots of traffic. 15 minutes later a drugged out girl shows up totally blazing unable to walk or talk coherently. After watching her try to open a combination lock for 10 minutes, I had to do it for her. I thought it was to get the keys to the house I rented but it was just a key to get into the room. Then we get in to the room and some guy shows up, he wants to shut the door and lock it behind me. I kept opening the door and he keeps closing it, I told him not to lock it. I am in a 50 square foot room with a drugged girl and a guy who keeps staring at me. The drugged out girl keeps repeating herself, says I have to sign everything on paper again and give her my credit card used to book and drivers license so she can copy ( after I signed on Docusign already and paid) I refuse to give her my cards and she pulls out a stack of other peoples credit cards and drivers licenses she has with signatures. I think wow you have 25 to 50 peoples identities you can steal. She can't find the pdf, calls someone in Newport Beach. She can't turn on the printer, my grandkids are screaming and crying in the car, remember I have 12 people 4 are under 4, it's been 2 hours now. My daughter comes bargaining in the room almost hits the guy with the door. I finally convince the girl to give me the keys to the house. Only after I give her my credit card and license. The rest leave and for another half hour I have to deal with the girl trying to read every word on the contract, which she can barely read, I take the 20 papers, quickly sign, she pulls out more keys and I ask for my cards back she says she gave them back. I told her they are in the scanner she can't stand up to check without falling over. I go get my cards and hand her the keys back, you already gave me the keys and I leave. 2.45 hours later I am finally done. I rent places, go to resorts all the time never with this much issues. I will never use Five Star again. I cancelled my credit card just to be safe. I dropped keys back off, the taped sign was still there.

Superb cabin supervised under subpar management

The Pros: Beautiful property in a convenient location to lake and downtown. Very new construction and well designed. Comfortable beds and furniture. The Cons: We were given exactly 2 bath towels per bathroom and 1 hand towel per bathroom. ZERO bath mats were provided so we had to use someone's bath towel and wash it over and over so that someone could use it for their bath towel. In the kitchen was also only one towel so we sacrificed one of our 3 hand towels to use in the kitchen. It was really inconvenient to be constantly washing towels and no remedy was offered after we contacted the management about this. Also, 3 weeks before the reservation, I called the office and left a message. No return call. 1 week before the reservation, I left another message that went unreturned. I emailed the company TWICE before our trip and of course, both emails went ignored. We all agreed even though we loved the property itself, if it's still managed by Five Star, we won't return.

Luxury and nature spectacular Big Bear Cabin mini-mansion

My family and friends were blown away with this stunning, beautiful, architecturally build spectacular Big Bear Cabin, mini-mansion home. The layout is unbelievable, very spacious, top-of-the-line kitchen, bathroom, hot tub, and pool table to entertain friends. Once in a lifetime experience, in a prime location.

Modern house and central to everything

Check-in process was very easy. The host was clear and communicative and let us check in early since we had kids. The house itself was very clean and had much more space than we needed. We didn’t end up using the hot tub but everything was well maintained. Beds were very comfortable. We had a great time! Thank you!

Wonderful stay in Big Bear!

What a great fun, clean, and convenient home! Check in was so easy—key pick up very close to the house. We ended up extending a night and that process was simple to navigate. The house is very close to the slopes so we had easy access to great hiking and biking. The house itself is beautiful, kitchen is huge, lots of space all around. Pool table upstairs was awesome! We brought all our own food so didn’t need to go out for anything other than exercise/fun. Relaxing back deck with BBQ was a great place to have dinner in the evening. We will be back!
