    Castle Glen Estates - Views, views & more views! As soon as you get to this home you will be set into a state of relaxation. When you pass through the front door you will be greated by a two story wall of windows with spectacular views of the mountains and ski resorts. Enjoy the large deck for your outdoor entertaining, dining & hot tub! This gorgeous home backs to Eagle Preserve and US Forestry Land. High, beamed, logged knotty pine ceilings in the great room also, featuring a floor to ceiling rock-faced, wood burning fireplace that is absolutely gorgeous! The kitchen has high-end stainless steel appliances, custom granite, & knotty alder cabinets. The loft is a wonderful area to relax, read a book, or just take in the views! The master bedroom features a spacious master bathroom, slate floors and walls, and dual sinks. The home has air conditioning for those warmer summer days along with central heat and the wood burning fireplace for those amazing winter snow days. Plenty of parking for you and your guests with the circular driveway.

    Master suite with a king bed

    Guest bedroom with a queen bed

    Guest room with bunk bed twin over full.

    Newly added bedroom! Queen bed & a bunk bed (twin over full) with en-suite bathroom!

    *This home also comes with a hot tub, wood burning fireplace, and an air hockey table!

    *All cooking has to be done with what the house provides and the BBQ on site. It is not allowed to bring anything with charcoal, gas, propane or anything of the sort. Just what the home already has. Thank you!

    Guest Access:

    Check-in starts at 4 PM.

    Checking In:

    * IDs are required at check-in.

    * You must be 24 years or older to book and check in.

    * You'll need to sign a Rental Agreement with the Big Bear Good Neighbor Policy (5 minutes). The link with the rental agreement will be sent once the booking is confirmed. It needs to be completed and signed before checking-in.



    Just a quick heads-up: to finalize your reservation, we kindly ask that you complete our short rental agreement within 24 hours of booking. It only takes a few minutes and helps make sure everything runs smoothly for your trip.

    Please also note that the cancellation policy begins the moment your booking is confirmed—not when the agreement is signed.

    Getting Around:

    Mountain Transit’s new Free Big Bear Trolley service is here! Three convenient routes (Red, Blue, Gold) take riders to most of the visitor attractions and amenities in Big Bear, including the ski resorts, Boulder Bay, The Village, Supermarkets, and the Airport. For the first time, public transit will serve the Big Bear Airport on a scheduled route. This transportation service will offer convenient and reliable transportation for both locals and visitors and help eliminate traffic congestion and car pollution in the Valley.

    * Max occupancy – 14 people, 10 Adults Maximum. The maximum for guests and adults CAN NOT be exceeded at any given time.



    * Parking Details:

    Max of 4 cars on-site. (Does have garage access) 240 AMP EV charger located in the garage. *CORD IS NOT INCLUDED!!



    *Quiet hours (10pm-7am).

    *No speakers or sound systems allowed.

    *No parties or events allowed at any given time.

    * Indoor sound cannot be loud enough to be audible at the property line.

    * Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $1,000 per violation.



    * This home is pet friendly! (Maximum: 2 pets)

    Pets MUST be pre-approved in advance.

    A pet fee of $125 per pet will apply IF the pet(s) has been approved. Pet fee is requested after the booking is confirmed.

    * If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without SoCal Vacations' approval: There is a fine of $500 per pet.

    Pet Rules:

    - Do not leave pets unattended in the home unless kenneled.

    - Do not let pets on any furniture or beds.

    - Pick up after your pet.

    - You will be responsible and charged for any damages caused by pets.



    * This is a smoke-free property (No smoking or vaping inside or outside, video monitoring enforcement.)

    Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $950 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

    It is prohibited by law that any kind of open fire whatsoever. You are allowed to use what is provided for you.



    ✅ Important Information – Please Read Before Booking



    To ensure a smooth stay and compliance with local City regulations, please note the following:

    * A separate rental agreement is required for all reservations and must be completed within 24

    hours of booking and prior to check-in.

    * The cancellation policy shown at the time of booking applies from the moment the reservation is confirmed, not from when the rental agreement is completed. Cancellation terms may vary by season or demand.

    * The primary guest must be 24 years of age or older and present during the stay.

    * No parties or events are allowed, per City ordinance.

    * Quiet hours are enforced by the City.

    * Trash must be taken to designated City clean sites, as required by local regulation.

    * Hot tubs, when provided, operate in compliance with California safety standards, with a

    maximum allowable temperature of 104°F (40°C).

    * Most check-ins are remote. Access instructions are sent on the day of check-in once the home

    is ready. Early entry is not permitted.

Beautiful, spacious and clean home

Property was very accurate and was perfect for our stay. We had 3 families with kids aged 5-10 and they had so much fun. Plenty of room for them to spread out. Beautiful views. Would definitely stay here again.

Annual Family trip

The architectural details, especially inside, are aesthetically delightful, even better than advertised. The kitchen is functional, beautiful and modern. The bedrooms have good separation between them. Check in was a bit cumbersome. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Views

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful mountain home. The home was immaculate, and the property management company was very responsive to all of our questions and needs. The views from the home were incredible making for a perfect weekend getaway. We would stay here again without hesitation!

The home is located in a beautiful community with an amazing view of the mountains. The house is clean, kitchen supplies are well-stocked, central heating/AC worked but finicky (easy to get too cold/hot). The only bothersome part was having to throw our trash out at checkout - the trash site is located several minutes away from the property.

Beautiful home and setting

Great house. Quiet neighborhood. Beautiful views off the very private feeling back deck. Enjoyed the clean jacuzzi, and the kids loved the air hockey table. The kitchen could use some pots, pans and cookie sheets for those planning on making dinners at the house. Would totally come back again.

Luxury Villa with stunning mountain views

Fantastic, luxury villa in an incredible neighbourhood with majestical mountain/ forest views, ran by a great and efficient management team. The outdoor deck is fantastic, fully furnished with beautiful views and an added bonus of a hot tub. Everything about the property, it’s driveway, land, bedrooms, kitchen, contents etc is very high end and there is a even a piano and an air hockey table. My family and i couldn’t have got our California adventure off to a better start than at this property in Big Bear. Thank you.

4.5 stars! The bedrooms, kitchen and living spaces were amazing. Plenty of room for our group of 8 (ages 12-82) to spread out and enjoy time together. The fun stuff like poker and air hockey tables were really fun. Views from the deck are just gorgeous. We had a little issue with ants finding their way inside - found some when we arrived in some leftover hot cocoa. Fast forward after spraying the perimeter of the kitchen, and spraying around the trash can every night before bed .... they continued to be a nuisance in the trash each morning. There was nothing we could do as there are no exterior trash cans to use to help keep them at bay, and running to the trash dump each night wasn't really tenable.

Beautiful home with a kitchen, dining area and great room for a large family to really come together and enjoy their time in Big Bear.
Loft was a bit small for our group, but perfect for another place for someone to sleep.

Overall beautiful amazing stay. Loved that each room had its own bathroom and toiletries. The back view was amazing at sunset, spa was perfect temp and not over chlorinated. It was a short, easy drive to the lake and down town area. Plenty of space to spread out and accommodate a large party without us feeling cramped. Two manageable concerns: 1.) There were ants in the kitchen. Didn’t realize until we put food on the counter first day and an hour later some fruit was contaminated but there was ant spray under the kitchen sink and we were careful to seal everything after that. Ants kept coming back (migrated towards kitchen sink) but we sprayed the ant spray each morning.2.) The A/C barely reaches the back rooms (over garage). Lots of fans for those beds were needed but luckily temp cools at night and sleep was manageable.

Check in was very easy. The property management was very responsive. The house was very nice and looked just as the pictures show. The kitchen was pretty well stocked. One of the bedrooms is upstairs and the air conditioning doesn't really reach up there. There are many fans in the room to help, but we went in July, and that room was very hot, so if you go when it is hot, you should not count on that room or bring extra fans. We had an unfortunate ant problem. There were ants in the eating area and also in the pantry. The property management did drop off ant spray and ant traps and Clorox wipes that did help. The refrigerator had in in-door filtered water, however, whenenver it was used, water started leaking from the bottom of the fridge. We removed the sheet of ice from the freezer, but that didn't seem to be the problem. The floors were dirty when we arrived. It was a big house, so I know that would be hard to keep clean. The house was remodeled, and it was very nice and had lots of storage space. The one downstairs room would have benefited from bedside tables and a dresser. I believe these items were in the garage, so maybe they were being replaced. The smoke detectors went off a couple of times on different days, so batteries probably just needed to be changed. It would be nice to have a place to store the trash until you take it to the trash drop off area. The house had a beautiful piano which was a great bonus. The master bedroom was beautiful and so large!
