Our beautiful and spacious custom two story log cabin was built in 2007 with love for our family. The cabin is over 3400 square feet, and has everything you need in a mountain home. You enter from the drive way with no stairs to get to the front door. When you walk through the front door you will find yourself in the mud room, where you can store all your snow equipment. Next, you walk into the family room and dining room area with gas/wood burning fireplace, TV with HD cable and large dining table. The kitchen is also located in this area and is well equipped with all you need including but not limited to a refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, crockpot and plenty of cooking utensils.

Down the hall you will find the master bedroom with views of the back deck and its beautiful scenery. It has a King bed, an electric gas burning fireplace, TV with cable and master bath. Bedroom two has a queen bed and bedroom three has a double bed. Bathroom two is also located on this floor along with the laundry room. The top level back deck is absolutely spectacular with beautiful forest and mountain views. The barbeque/grill is located on this deck. This level has everything for those that don’t want to deal with stairs.

The lower level includes a large game room with a bar, electric gas fireplace, pool table, poker table, TV with HD Cable, and dart board. There are two bathrooms in the hall on your way to the Great room (or 4th bedroom). This room has two double size bunk beds with double trundle pull outs, and can sleep 8 easily. It also includes an electric gas burning fireplace and TV for video games/tapes. The lower level deck is where you will find the 8 person Jacuzzi. Sit in the Jacuzzi and enjoy the beautiful scenery after a long day on the slopes.

All bathrooms have a shower/tub. The mattresses are all very nice. Bedding for the 3 upstairs beds and the 4 downstairs double beds are included in your cleaning fee along with bath towels, wash cloths and hand towels. There are 2 heaters (1 top level and 1 lower level). Air conditioning is on the top level only. We have Wi-Fi available and we will give you the passcode when you check in. The garage can hold 1 car/SUV and the driveway can hold 3 large cars/SUV’s, possibly more smaller cars and we have a contract with a local snow plow business to clear the drive after each storm. We installed a Tesla charger in October 2022. Ask about the fees for utilizing during your stay. We have some sleds to share in the mudroom and/or garage. At this time one side of our property are vacant, so you are surrounded by beautiful trees.

The closest ski mountain is Bear Mountain. It is about an 8 minute drive(2.3 miles). Snow Summit is about a 12 minutes drive(3.5 miles). The time does depend on the road conditions.

We feel fortunate to have the National Forest at end of the street with great walking/hiking trails and beautiful scenery.

We enjoyed our stay at this wonderful cabin over thanksgiving break! The cabin was near a nature trail which was great for a leisure walk and it was very spacious. We enjoyed playing games on the outside deck with a wonderful view. We also enjoyed the kitchen, it had all the utensils needed to enjoy great meals. The beds were very comfortable. The host was very informative and responsive. Our family will definitely be coming back to this cabin in the future!

This property was perfect for our 3 families. Our 5 teen boys had the downstairs to themselves and had a blast. The beds are comfortable and, although some of the pots and pans are pretty beat up, we had everything we needed and more to make every meal. We also enjoyed the hiking trails at the end of the street, no need to drive! Communication with the owners was awesome. We would stay here again :)

Thanksgiving trip

We had a great time! The Palmers have a detailed description of their beautiful property, which made for a comfortable stay. We did not encounter any issues during our stay. There was plenty of room for our party (11 guest). The beautiful patio has a fantastic view. We will definitely recommend and book again!

Perfect Location

Online, this place checked all the boxes. Upon arrival - so much more. The cabin was built with thoughtfulness and attention to detail. Amenities were abundant: a well appointed kitchen, access to garage for snow toys, plenty of linens and lots of room. It’s perfect for groups of adults and kids. The upstairs for the adults, the downstairs for the kids. The location is tucked away in Moonridge. There is a nearby trail as well as plenty of slopes next to the property. My kids had a blast creating sled runs without having to go far. The weather happened to be stormy so there was several feet of snow to play in, something we rarely see. The friendly owners, Cheron and Flint, were quick to respond before and after booking and were a phone call away during our stay.

Amazing cabin

My family and I stayed here over the Fourth of July and we had a great time. The hosts were communicative, helpful, and organized. The cabin was spacious for our entire family and has beautiful views from the back deck. The hot tub works great as does the A/C and has a well stocked kitchen. We look forward to staying here again. Highly recommend 😎

Great location and home

Had a great time at this home. Communication was great with the homeowners. Easily parked 4 vehicles on the property with a large family. The hiking trails down the street was one of the reasons we chose this home and they did not disappoint.

Such a great house for teens and parents!

This was our first time to Big Bear and the kids said it was their best trip ever. I think in part it was due to the house. The kids could be done stairs playing pool and the parents upstairs cooking. We never went out to a restaurant- it was more fun staying in!

Exceptional Stay!

Our Big Bear stay was amazing, the cabin was more than what we expected, everything clean and organized, the location was awesome . My family and I had soo much fun, the sleeping arrangements were great , not to mention the Game room, it was great..we had our white christmas we allways dreamed of. AMAZING!

This vacation stay was beyond my expectations.
