Westward Ho! is a delightful and friendly Victorian coastal resort offering a wide range of attractions, including a beautiful beach, the Royal North Devon Golf Club, the North Devon Surf School, tennis courts, National Trust cliff-top walks and Northam Burrows Country Park. The charming market town of Bideford is two miles away and boasts a selection of shops and a pannier market. You could take a day trip to Lundy Island on the MS Oldenburg, walk or cycle along the Tarka Trail, or enjoy visits to Tapeley Park and Gardens, The Big Sheep, The Milky Way Adventure Park, RHS Rosemoor Gardens or simply enjoy the gorgeous local beaches and countryside.

On entering this lovely cottage you will find yourself in the welcoming lounge where you can relax at the end of the day with the TV/DVD. Heading into the kitchen/diner you will find everything you may need including electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge. Going up to the first floor you will find two comfy bedrooms: one double and one twin. There is also a shower room complete with WC. Moving up to the second floor there are two more bedrooms: a double and a twin, as well as a bathroom complete with shower over the bath and WC.

Stepping back outside to the front of the cottage you will find a private, enclosed gravelled area or you can relax in the shared BBQ area with picnic tables and garden chairs. The cottage is part of a complex of properties which share the outdoor 40ft swimming pool with seating, which is heated through the main summer months (open from the last May Bank Holiday week until the 1st September only). There is also a communal children’s play area, with swings, slides, football goal posts and swing ball set. (bats and football provided) Also provided for guests use is a handy, fully enclosed, dog exercise field located less than 100 yards away.

Located on site are 8 other cottage cottages, able to sleep 43 guests in total. These cottages include Country Life Casscade Cottage (sleeps 8), Country Life Bramling Cottage (sleeps 8), Country Life Goldings Cottage (sleeps 4), Country Life Fuggles Cottage (sleeps 6), Bilberry Cottage (sleeps3), Plum Tree Cottage (sleeps 3), Crab Apple Cottage (sleeps 3), Loganberry Cottage (sleeps 4) and Elderberry Cottage (sleeps 4).
