Complete with 2 cosy sofas situated by the Smart TV and fire, it’s the perfect space for relaxed gatherings after a day’s exploration. What a beautiful property.

What a beautiful property. We have hired quite a few cottages in our time but The Imaginary Barn is by far and away the best. It’s a newly renovated property and it has been sympathetically and tastefully done. We didn’t find the beds to be the most comfortable but overall we managed and it didn’t detract from our stay. We had a lovely week and we will definitely look to book this property again.

Lovely well maintained property with a homely feel.

Lovely well maintained property with a homely feel. Perfect base for our family holiday.Owner’s made sure we had their contact details and knew how to contact them on arrival and left a welcome pack including extras such as tea, coffee, milk, dishwasher tablets, and towels, which was a nice surprise after a long journey.Easy reach places in both to north Devon and North Cornwall by car, so the cottage is in a great location.Very happy with our stay. Will look to book again in future seasons.

Had a lovely week at this well equipped, clean and homely barn.

Had a lovely week at this well equipped, clean and homely barn. Spacious, with several seating areas, high quality furniture and a lovely outdoor space which gets the midday sun. Would highly recommend. Need a car although can walk to the coast path. Only downside were the pillows which were very thin, but we didn’t use all the beds so could stack spare pillows on top. Also to note that to get to the property you have to drive down a few miles of single lane track, was fine for us, especially as we loved the remote spot but aware some may not like.
