"Check in was delayed by almost 3 hours because they were “busy”. The staff was less than helpful and had no explanation. Us and another couple we were travelling with all had to cram into the only room that was ready on time. Four people had to get ready in a very small 1 bathroom hotel room or miss our dinner reservations that we made weeks in advance. The free coffee voucher was supposed to make up for this massive inconvenience. The hotel was great, the experience was garbage."

"Great old building in design and common area furnishings are appropriate with plenty of character. As for the room: Sure, the building is old and one doesn't expect a big room, but ours was too small; there was about one foot of space on two sides of the bed. Space to leave one suitcase open, but not two. Bathroom was small, as was the sink. The major problem in the room, though, was the owner's insistence on a period bed that required one to pole vault into it. There was a two-step stair left...

"Location was amazing! Close to everything and walkable. Parking is only valet. Or you can park yourself off site. Hotel is clean. Staff are friendly and very Accommodating. Only issue was the plumbing. Sink and tub Slow to drain and toilet as well. But all in all great place to stay! 2 min walk to Forld field and Comerica Park! And Greek town 5 min walk for fabulous food! "

"We arrived to check-in prior to the Bruno Mars concert, and only 2 receptionists were working at the four computers available. Although, we were second in line, people who were MGM premium members were able to move to the front of the line and check-in first, resulting in 10 groups being moved in front of us. Finding out what time breakfast/brunch is was near impossible to find for hotel guests (8 AM to 11 AM). Much more energy is spent on casino guests, and not the hotel guests who aren’t...

"Great property. Very easy on the eyes. Loved the bed, VERY comfortable. However they said breakfast was included & there was a breakfast buffet. Which was great. But I get to the buffet & of course it was $18.95 to partake. Kinda caught me off guard. Also be prepared to pay for parking. Cost $45 to park onsite which was the only option if u wanted to be onsite. "
