  • Fantastic location in the Golden Triangle. Le Clos Du Paradis Gites and Chambre D’Hote is located within the centre of the beautiful village of Daglan with all amenities within walking distance. We have parking, gardens and a swimming pool. The gite is fully equipped with washing machine, nespresso machine, cooker, hob, microwave, bbq, fresh linen and everything else you could need for a comfortable stay. The tourist office is just next door so you can plan your days with ease. Enjoy the river walks, a hot air balloon trip, the many restaurants and 5 Châteaux all on the doorstep. Visit the town of Sarlat, Domme or Monpazier just to highlight a few. There are wonderful markets to sample local produce and during the summer months the famous night markets are well worth a visit. A trip to Daglan is unforgettable you can relax or fill your days with the endless possibilities this beautiful region has to offer.

Lovely stay in this cosy well maintained gite, we really liked the quiet village location, with bakery, grocery and lovely restaurants on the doorstep. Daglan was a great location for access to kayaking and cycle routes. We made good use of the shared pool in the hot weather, and Vicky was an excellent host, very welcoming and always on hand with help and advice when needed. We enjoyed our time here very much.

This is a fantastic place to stay for exploring the Dordogne and the Lot. So close to many wonderful villages and interesting sites, and Daglan is a beautiful little village. Vicky is a wonderful host, so quick to help if you have any questions. We loved returning to this peaceful oasis after a day of sightseeing. The pool is a bonus in hot weather.

A lucky find!

Beautiful setting, right in the centre of Daglan. Its such a quite location and the hosts were lovely too, making us feel very welcome. We were so pleased to find this accommodation and would happily return.

The gite was in a great location in a beautiful Dordogne village, which we had never been to before. Our previous stays had been in Domme and Sarlat but the size and character of Daglan was much more welcoming. To see one of the two restauranteur’s strolling around and buying produce from the local weekly market was a joy to witness. If you want the Dordogne without all the tourists, Vicky’s place in Daglan is a perfect choice. Vicky was a wonderful source of local knowledge and advice and even invited us to join her and her friend to join them at a lovely rustic restaurant that we’d have struggled to find ourselves. When we come back to the Dordogne, we know exactly where we’ll stay!

Paradijsje midden in Daglan

Het appartement was compleet ingericht inclusief een terrasje, grote tuin en zwembad. Bijzonder rustige omgeving, in een pitoresk dorpje. Aardige eigenaren!

June holiday

The property was well appointed with everything we needed and was very comfortable. The pool at the gite was very welcoming in the warm evenings. Our hosts were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. The area was very quiet and peaceful.

Fabulous location and accommodation

Wonderful Gite, amazing location, Vicky and Anthony are wonderful hosts with lots of knowledge of where to visit and where to eat. The accommodation was very comfortable with everything you need for a super holiday, the swimming pool was wonderful and the grounds very well maintained. Would absolutely recommend this place for a great holiday in the Dordoigne. We will definitely be returning. Thank-you Vicky and Anthony for making our holiday an unforgettable one.

Perfect base to see the area

Welcoming hosts. Pool is excellent. Very clean. Had everything needed for a self catering stay. Village has all the basic amenities plus 3 great places to eat. Definitely highly recommend.

Relaxing Holiday

Fabulous stay in the beautiful village of Daglan. Amenities close by including a supermarket, bakery, two restaurants and Tourist office. The Gite was charming with everything you need for a perfect staying including the pool. Cannot thank Vicky and Anthony enough for making us feel so welcome. Amazing hosts and we will be happy to make a return visit.

Fantastic holiday in fabulous gite

Le Clos du Paradis is aptly named. We spent a fabulous two weeks in the perfect gite with a most beautiful garden in the gorgeous Dordogne countryside. A peaceful and totally relaxing getaway but with easy access to great places to visit and activities, as well as superb places to eat, vineyards and local markets. Vicky and Anthony are truly wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. Definitely a place to return to!

Excellent gite in beautiful village

The fire has everything you need for a lovely stay, clean, comfortable and pretty. Vicky and Anthony were excellent hosts, always available for local information. The pool was kept at a lovely temperature to use even in cooler days. The village was very pretty with 2 good restaurants within an easy walk. Would highly recommend.

Ein Stück Paradies

Wir haben die Zeit in der Ferienwohnung genossen, besonders die Terrasse mit Blick auf den herrlichen Garten und den Pool. Vicky war immer ansprechbar und hilfsbereit. Daglan ist der perfekte Ausgangsort für Touren in die wunderschöne Dordogne.

A perfect Dordogne break

Clos du Paradis was a perfect base to explore the Dordogne region, whilst also being a delightful place to return to for some relaxing time around the pool. Equipped with everything we needed, including a BBQ, and with an extremely comfortable bed, we would happily return. Vicky and Anthony were the perfect hosts. Three good restaurants in the village, plus a boulangerie and mini supermarket.

A real paradise!

We had a wonderful stay of four days at Le Clos du Paradis. The gite was spotlessly clean and well-equipped and well-furnished. Very nice linens on a comfortable bed. Vicky and Anthony were lovely hosts, discreetly looking after our needs. We enjoyed Daglan and the surrounding area—not our first trip here and it won’t be the last! Thank you Vicky and Anthony!
