Bison Acres' main cabin can be rented without the bunkhouse during our slow seasons and will still include the private 9-acre lot and the all-season outdoor jacuzzi/hot tub!



The Space:

Welcome to Bison Acres, a modern log cabin retreat set on nine private acres in the heart of Northern Michigan. Just minutes from Crystal Mountain Ski Resort, Lake Michigan, and Downtown Beulah, this home offers the perfect all-season escape. In winter, it becomes a cozy base for snowy adventures, with skiing, snowmobiling, and cross-country trails all close by. After a day outdoors, guests can unwind in front of the fireplace or soak in the outdoor hot tub under the stars.



The Cabin blends rustic charm with modern comfort. The main level features an open floor plan with warm wood finishes, a gas fireplace, a smart TV, and a sleeper sofa for additional guests. The master bedroom includes a king bed, a large closet, and a spacious bathroom. A full kitchen and dining area make meals easy, while a washer and dryer provide convenience for longer stays. Upstairs, the loft comfortably sleeps four and includes a pack-n-play crib for young children.



Please note that this listing is exclusively for The Cabin and does not include access to The Shed, the separate guest sleeping quarters above the garage. Bison Acres is ideally located for winter fun. Guests are only 15 minutes from Crystal Mountain’s slopes and tubing hills, while the Betsie Valley Trail offers miles of scenic cross-country skiing and fat-tire biking. Snowmobile trails are easily accessible from the property, making it simple to explore Benzie County’s winter wonderland. Firewood is available for purchase on-site through a local vendor’s cashbox, so evenings by the fire are always within reach.



With space to explore, modern amenities, and close proximity to Northern Michigan’s best winter activities, The Cabin at Bison Acres is a warm and inviting retreat in every season.



Rental Policy:

- No smoking or fireworks are permitted.

- No Pets.

- All events must be preapproved, sign our event agreement, pay a separate event fee, and provide proof of event insurance. Inquired today for more information about our event hosting policy.

- Minimum booking age is 25.



To help you relax and enjoy your stay, we have partnered with Safely to provide all reservations with damage protection. The cost for Safely is $55 for 1-29 nights, $299 for 30-59 nights, $389 for 60-89 nights, and $479 for 90-119 nights. All reservations will initially be charged a $55 Safely Damage Insurance Fee. For stays longer than 29 nights, the additional charges will be processed after booking. All reservations are subject to the guest agreement terms, conditions, and fees.



Guest Access:

This rental EXCLUDES the use of the garage's upper-level loft bunk room and lower-level bathroom. This property features self-check-in. Check-in is permitted between 4:00 pm -10:00 pm. Guest are responsible for having their check-in instruction before arrival. Check-in instructions are sent after completing our guest check-in form and agreeing to our terms of service. The home's property address will also be sent separately 72 hours prior to check-in.

Other Things to Note:

Guests are provided with a small amount of the basic essentials including 2 rolls of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, 2 laundry pods, 2 dish pods, a full dish soap dispenser, and full soap dispensers in each bathroom, and basic cleaning supplies. Guests are not to use the host's inventory of bulk supplies left at the property and should be prepared to supply their own as needed for longer stays.



CHECK OUT INSTRUCTIONS:

•November-April: Set the heat/thermostat to 55 degrees and close the blinds.

•May-October: Shut off everything and close the blinds.

•Strip beds (not mattress pads) and pile all sheets and towels on the floor near the washer. Start a load of towels in the washer. (If applicable.)

•If you used more than 2 shower towels, hand towels, or washcloths per person we ask that you wash, dry, and put the excess away before checking out. (If applicable.)

•Dispose of all food. No food or beverages are to be left inside the property.

•Put all trash in the garbage bin. Trash instructions are noted in your Guest Guide Link. Please take the trash to the road if your stay falls on or within 48 hours of trash day.

•Put patio cushions back. (If applicable.)

•All dishes must be washed, dried, and put away. Dirty dishes may result in a $100 additional guest cleaning fee.

•Turn off all lights.

•Lock the door.



Interaction with Guests:

Guests will have this entire property to themselves. "The Shed" is not rented separately. Rental Management One is available to assist via email, phone, or directly through OTA messages. Detailed contact information will be provided with the check-in instructions.
