"This chalet was a perfect basecamp for traveling the Interlaken region. It is within a 20-minute walk of a major train station and the bus is one minute from the front door. "Wengen - Wow! And what a perfect chalet to experience it from. It is cozy, beautiful, well-located and….the view! I jokingly said that postcards must have been invented here because otherwise no one would believe that such a place exists. The decor of the chalet is beautiful and cozy. It invites “hanging out”. "Overall, the property worked for our needs. The address listed is actually to the rental property office, but the exact house. So it’s a bit farther out of downtown than it seems, but we had a car and it seemed public transport was close by. Showers are quite small, but normal for Europe. "The photos of the property do not do it justice. It is FANTASTIC. We celebrated my 60th birthday with a trip to our beloved Grindelwald. My 86 year old dad traveled with us. We got a hotel by the train station (the Derby) at which we've enjoyed staying on previous trips. He would not have handled the 45 steps to Chalet M very well. "My room didn't have shampoo & shower gel dispenser. When I went to reception, the first answer I got was sort of "take a look again". I had to go back, take a photo, and come back to show them what was going on. Once they saw it, I got no solution for that. Just two little bottles of shower gel in a not good manner. We stayed two nights, and we had no room cleaning service (we went the whole day outside, so there was plenty of time). The hotel stairs had cables hanging on from the roof after the third floor. I would no come back"
