The property owner was very responsive and answered all questions quickly and professionally. The home is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood. The main issues we had were that there were not many cleaning supplies--we couldn't find a vacuum or dish rags. We wanted to be sure we left the home clean, and there was a broom and dustpan, but the broom was very short and made sweeping a chore. There was a problem with water leaking up from the floor of the basement, which we noticed immediately, as the floors in the home were so nice we didn't want to wear shoes in the house, lest we track in snow. There were not a lot of rugs by the doors, so this was really an issue. When we walked in the basement, our socks got very wet, and this was unpleasant. We did decide to just wear shoes any time we went downstairs.
The rooms were very nice, the sheets and comforters were wonderful. It was cold there, and we all slept well. The bathrooms, unfortunately, did not have a separate exhaust switch from the light, and so when the lights were on, so was the exhaust. This made getting out of the showers a cold experience, and it was noisy at night and we had small children with us, so this was an issue.
If the weather is nice, there are some wonderful outdoor areas and porches we didn't use, because of the weather, but this would be a great assess in warmer weather.
