We offer for rental,
A very comfortable holiday home with a harmonious and modern decoration in a peaceful setting, a beautiful Charentaise house of rubble stone and exposed beams surrounded by a terrace at the edge of a closed wooded park comprising:
- beautiful fitted kitchen, living room, shower room and separate WC,
- bedroom with 140 cm bed and 90 cm bed in the living room
- terrace, garden furniture, barbecue, covered parking
Everything is planned for a pleasant stay, the house offers a view of the Charente countryside conducive to calm, rest, invitation to a walk in the countryside or through the bike paths.
You will take full advantage of its private swimming pool of 5m by 10m and secured by an alarm and surrounded by a sunny terrace.
In the town, you will find baskets of vegetables and organic bread on request and 10 minutes away, shops, medical office, physiotherapist and pharmacy.
Equipment of the cottage:
Refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven, washing machine, television; barbecue, table tennis table and mountain bike available.
Deckchairs around the swimming pool and terrace accessible directly from the house.

Cottage located in a quiet hamlet, close to various pretty villages and castles, but also 35 km from Angoulême and 25 km from Aubeterre sur Dronne (one of the most beautiful villages in France with its monolithic church).
Located in the country of Cognac, in a quiet, independent hamlet, not overlooked, fully enclosed with a private entrance.
Bakery, caterer, shops, markets and supermarkets at 10 minutes but also leisure center at 15 minutes.

For any additional person, an amount of 20 euros per night and per person is requested.
The tenant agrees to vacate the cottage according to the defined times (between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m.).
The tenant must return the cottage in the state of cleanliness found on arrival.
Otherwise, the owner will retain from the deposit the amount corresponding to the estimated time required for cleaning (25 euros per hour with a minimum charge of 70 euros).
Outside the months of July and August, the electricity consumption will be invoiced to the tenants according to a statement on arrival and at the exit of the tenants. The amount is 0.1 € ht per Kw.

Vraiment parfait!

Nous avons l'habitude de réserver après avoir bien lu les appréciations d'autres vacanciers. Cela nous a convaincu de louer cette propriété. Nos attentes ont été largement dépassées: le hameau, le calme, la maison et sa piscine, la région en général, etc. Nous avons en particulier apprécié la gentillesse de Thierry et Annick. un petit coin de paradis

Nous cherchions le calme et l'avons trouvé. Gîte très sympa, confortable, bien isolé (la chambre restait fraîche malgré 38 degrés à l'extérieur). Belle piscine très agréable pour nous tous seuls. La maison est isolée, parfait pour se mettre "au vert". Propriétaires charmants, accueillants puis très discrets. Nous recommandons ++

Agréable séjour

Petite maison fonctionnelle et surtout un jardin magnifique très grand, avec une grande piscine exclusivement pour les locataires ce qui est un vrai plus ! Tout ceci situé dans un petit hameau très calme mais à 15 minutes seulement de tous commerces.

A little piece of Heaven

If you are after a completely chilled out week or two then this is the place for you. Everything you require for a self catering break is provided. Annick & Thierry were such fantastic hosts, loved it so much we are going back next year. And yes we will learn more French !

Very relaxing tranquil experience in the countryside.

Very well equipped house very comfortable. Pool was fabulous. We got great weather. We were 16km from montmoreau , Chalais and barbezieux which all had lovely restaurants. We enjoyed the bikes and the walks around the area. The owners were very welcoming and helpful . We are planning to go back and I would not hesitate recommending this property.

Une semaine de vacance tres simple a resumer : un grand jardin pour flaner, une belle piscine, une petite maison agreable a vivre et tres propre. Nous savons ou aller quand nous retournerons en vacance dans le sectuer. Un grand merci aux proprietaires qui sont tres sympas.

Spotless cottage and pool in rural settings

This is very probably the cleanest house/cottage we have ever stayed in, it was faultless. Located in a small hamlet, in a rural area about an hour and a half from Bergerac airport, this accommodation offers a perfect getaway from all the stresses of everyday life. Thre is a large secure garden with a variety of fruit trees and shrubs which offer a shaded place to sit during the hot weather. The pool, although not heated, is exceptional for a refreshing swim or just floating about. The water is also kept crystal clear. The accommodation itself is immaculate with a modern kitchen featuring double sliding doors opening onto the patio with views across the pool and the garden. The hosts are charming, friendly and respect your privacy. I would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation or staying here again myself. The pictures on this site really do not do justice to the whole property. It really is amazing!!!!

Place to be - people looking for pacefull and quiet location

In total we have spent 2 weeks in this place. Very peaceful, quiet location. Nice little house in the middle of the countryside. A bit isolated which contributes to the overall privacy. All basic accommodation is available with a magnificent swimming pool. Very friendly and supportive owners with a lot of respect for their guests. It’s a place we would certainly recommend without any doubt.

Havre de paix en Charente

Superbe piscine dans un beau jardin (avec les cerises en prime !!!) , maison confortable et très propre où rien ne manque , dans un hameau paisible , ..et des propriétaires très accueillants, disponibles et sympathiques,....Que demander de plus, lorsqu'on veut se détendre et découvrir la Charente .... Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour et reviendrons sans aucun doute .
