"We stayed in different rooms on April 29 and on May 1, 2026. The rooms seemed recently renovated. This is a no-frills accommodation: there are a little refrigerator and cups, but no coffee-maker. The concierge on each night was welcoming and competent. My only complaint is that on the second night, our supposedly non-smoking room smelled strongly of stale tobacco smoke. There were quite a few cafes and a neighborhood grocery store a short walk from the hotel. We had enough time to visit Powell's bookstore, that was within a short walk to the hotel as well which was nice. Based on what I've observed, I would not feel comfortable walking alone at night as a female traveler in the area."
