Was a lovely stay in a clean property. Had all the amenities to be able to cook my own meals although I didn’t use these. A few minutes walk to public transport. Couldn’t ask for much more! Thank you.

I contacted the host before booking and asked if the bathroom was private. She said it was. Then once I checked in found out that the apartment - including the bathroom - is shared with another guest. Furthermore the apartment is being used as additional storage for the owners who live next door, lots of old furniture filled with their stuff, and the kitchen was half full of seed starts making it even smaller than it was to start with.I ended up leaving after the first night, I want my money back.

This place is a real find, just a very short walk from the Seestrasse U-Bahn station in a charming older building. There are plenty of places (one of which serves incredibly good Turkish food with fresh baked Tandoor bread) to grab meals nearby that are affordable and can be enjoyed as leftovers in the kitchenette. There are just a few things to realize about the property. It is clean, well-stocked and has more than everything needed to have a wonderful stay. The hosts are kind, helpful, and go above and beyond to assist their guests...but if you must be a prince or princess? Know a few things. The room is several floors up in an older building oozing with charm. That means you climb 88 steps to get to the room. I did not realize this but am aware this is a thing with older apartments in Europe. I would have gotten my bags there eventually; the host very kindly carried them up for me which was not his problem to do and was beyond generous of him. So appreciated...but I did not expect this! There is NO LIFT. What a chance to get more exercise! But if you have a serious problem walking maybe do not choose here. There is NO MICROWAVE but there is a stove to heat food and water. Bring a LIGHT of some kind; the stairs are dark at night. The neighborhood felt safe, lots of foot traffic at all hours for a woman solo traveler. Large windows with beautiful views. The room shares a bathroom/shower with one other bedroom unit. I would stay here again without question, I loved it!
