Located within the private gated community of Assateague Pointe, this 3-bedroom home offers all the comforts of home, including a full kitchen, washer and dryer, three TVs, and central A/C. The community features two large outdoor pools, a recreation room, a fishing pier extending into the bay, stocked fishing ponds, complimentary paddle boats, a basketball half court, playgrounds, and picnic areas—providing plenty of options for family fun. Just minutes from the beaches of Assateague Island National Park and the Ocean City beach and boardwalk, this home is ideally situated for a relaxing coastal escape. Occupancy is limited to five guests. This is a non-smoking property, and pets are not permitted. Please note: sheets, towels, paper products, and cleaning supplies are not provided. A linen package, including sheets and towels, is available to rent for an additional charge.

It was okay. The kitchen was clean and well-stocked with pots and pans. The two front burners on the stove, however, were difficult to regulate (they only stayed on high). The living room could have done with one less piece of furniture. The bedrooms were fine with adequate storage space for clothes. The bathroom could have benefited from a mat for the tub and floor (it was dangerously slippery until we improvised with one of our towels). All of the floors were dirty when we arrived and required a second visit from the cleaning service.

House itself was alittle run down. Not as clean as I would have liked it. I did have them com re-mop the floors. AC Wasn’t real cool. We kept everything shut. The area is nice with the pier, paddle boats, and pools! Overall great vacation. Will consider again, maybe a different house next time.

Just ok, it was a roof over our headsay

The location was a huge disappointment. I would not recommend, felt like a trailer park or old people community. The house it’s self was much smaller than expected, there were only 3 beds, believe listing said it could sleep 6. The house was pet friendly, and there were dog hairs everywhere to prove it. There were no sheets at all just comforters on the beds, no Linens at all. The house did not feel clean at all. Everything is dated, pictures tell a different story. House is not well kept. I would not recommend this listing to any of my friends. It was 10 mins from Ocean city, but not convenient especially when there’s lots of traffic. My family was just happy to have a roof over our heads and were happy to leave. No paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper. Had to go out buy bath mat, sheets for three beds comforters were not clean. We were sent to check in at wrong location 20 mins away, yet check in was available at the rental location. Would not rent again.

Assateague House

Our vacation at Assateague House better than expected. I sent an email and the reply came back quicker than expected. This is the first unit in the development that we would rent again, it was that perfect. The owner has beautifully decorated and maintained this home. The only suggestion would be receiving a text stating the unit was cleaned and ready. You'll love it here, we did.

Very spacious!

We enjoyed our stay very much! House was spacious, clean and well stocked. We were close to everything which was a huge plus with a young child. Will definitely stay again!
