Excellent house for a large family. Plenty of rooms. Kitchen well stocked with everything needed to make big meals. Walking distance to local brewery Communication with owners was very good. They were quick to respond. Would stay again

This house had plenty of space for 5 siblings and their spouses (some with disabilities), although the kitchen was a bit small. We really enjoyed being able to sit around the large dining and living areas, as well as the outdoor deck. We had very easy access to Berkeley Springs and wonderful back roads for leaf peeping. I have to say the only real problem we had was lack of comfortable beds. I suggest the host adds memory foam mattress pads to reduce the firmness we experienced.

Definitely had sleeping capacity as described and communication was top notch. Kitchen was well stocked with dinnerware and cooking supplies. Lots of books, games, music, etc., including a small ping pong table. We did not use the firepit as the chairs were in poor condition. Suggest a deep clean or replacement of plastic chairs and stow under deck when not in use, and the grass needed to be mowed. We also did not realize that the hot tub was drained and that we needed to fill it and bring it up to temperature to use it, no idea how long this would take. Perhaps this could be done by management prior to guest arrival.

Our family of nine had plenty of room, huge grand table to share many meals, and did the whole Berkeley Springs experience. Cacapon Park and C&O Canal nearby as well. Right across from the beautiful community pool which was well maintained.

The 8 of us were impressed with Serendipity. We each had our own bed, and the multiple bathrooms, spaciousness of the house, the hot tub and fire ring made our stay very enjoyable. We had a blast! Will likely return in the future.

Serendipity was perfect for our leaders' Retreat, providing ample sleep accommodations and a comfortable gathering space. The weather didn't permit us to take advantage of the fantastic deck or fire pit...but there is always next time!

Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations and was a great value for a family vacation. We would return. Excellent location and community. Large house with plenty of rooms. We had 4 adults, 5 kids, and a dog and we could have fit more. Some of the bedrooms and bathrooms on the lower floor would benefit from an update, but still fine. Everything worked well. Hot tub was great. Outdoor deck area was awesome. Hammocks were a bonus. We had no problems with internet or wireless service. Worked perfectly and plenty of bandwidth.

The house was a little older than expected but comfortable and spacious for our two generations of 6 adults and 2 dogs. Plenty of pots, pans, utensils, and dishes, along with some condiments. Hiking trails in community are well marked.

Great location with beautiful view. Big house and comfortable for humans and dogs. Hot tub enjoyed. Xmas tree decorated and setup was a special treat. Trails were fun with dogs. State Park is easy drive and also great hiking. Thank you.

The house is tucked away in a quiet nook, only a few minutes from town. It is spacious, comfortable, and was perfect for our group. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and dishes, making group meals very easy. The group had a wonderful time!

We had a large group here and it was a perfect situation. Spacious enough and really well stocked with home amenities. The hot tub was amazing and pretty large too. Would definitely recommend this place. Also really close to a local brewery which was a bonus!

We had a lovely stay at Serendipity! We really enjoyed the hot tub, the back deck, and the easy access to hiking trails and other outdoor activities. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The house had so many bedrooms and bathrooms--perfect for a large group. The experience with the management group was positive, and they were very accommodating and helpful when answering our questions about the property. Overall, a lovely place to spend a weekend!

The rental company was inefficient. When I was lost several times, I expected that they would meet me and lead me to the property. They did not. Then when I got there I had trouble with the lock box and the agent told me it was "operator error"!! She finally came opened it and turned on the hot tub. Additionally, one of the dining room chairs collapsed on me!

The house was very beautiful, very clean and Very spacious. We had 2 amazing nights in here and the kids didn’t want to come back home. :) I cannot find a word to express my feelings too the hot tub, it was Amazing! The reason of giving 4 stars for an overall rating is because of not being able to pickup any cell service and internet connection in the house. Other than that, it’s an amazing house in a very peaceful place to stay in with your friends and family. Thank you!

Serendipity was a great place to have our 6th annual girls weekend getaway. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own bedroom and bathroom. It was very clean and the hot tub was a nice bonus! Also, the location was close to downtown Berkeley Springs to do a little shopping and to go out to eat. Overall it was a great experience and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing time especially for a larger group. Thanks so much!
