Stay In The Heart Of Bend, Walk Everywhere!

Welcome to our vacation home. The Chalet is two-levels, with a king bed in the master upstairs, and two twin beds in the downstairs room. Plus there is a pull out queen sofa bed in the living room. Our Home has a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ on the back deck, and a front deck overlooking the quiet neighborhood, air conditioning, and a hot tub just off the back deck. We have equipped our home with just about everything that we desire, you’ll love it. Including a private hot tub off the back deck.
The house is located only a couple of blocks from downtown with all of the restaurants and shops that can be found there. Our home is also within easy walking distance of more than 5 of Bend's famous brew pubs (and many more if you are up for a little more than an easy stroll), and the Old Mill District. It's also easy to head for the river, or hit the road to Mount Bachelor for skiing in the winter. Come home and warm up by the gas fireplace, in the hot tub, or walk two blocks to enjoy the famous soaking pool at the McMenamin's St. Francis School.
One note! If you are planning to have a big, rowdy (bachelor? bachelorette?) party, please look for another location. Our home is in a residential neighborhood, and if there is much noise past 10 PM the neighbors will call the police.

This home was an amazing find - cute and comfortable, stocked with everything we needed! We met our two college aged sons here for Thanksgiving and had a fantastic time. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the location was perfect - steps from the action but nice and quiet. We all loved the hot tub and the beds and furniture were very comfortable. We’ll plan our next trip to Bend around when this home is available!

We had a great time and loved the location of this house! It was perfectly priced, clean & in walking distance from Old Mill District. We had a few issues with the garage door as the code and Wi-Fi passwords. What was provided didn’t match up. So we connected with the property manager leaving a VM (they never called us back) and messaging them on the VRBO app. They did get back to us but it was later that evening and the next day. We had already figured out the WiFi and opened the garage door from the inside. All in all I would highly recommend this house for your next visit to Bend, OR. Can’t wait ti go back!

Lovely Home in Excellent Location

We really enjoyed our stay at this property and felt the layout was perfect. It is well equipped with everything that we could have wanted. The location to Drake Park, shops, restaurants, etc. was perfect. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Weekend Bend Getaway

The location of this property is awesome. You can walk just about anywhere in just a few minutes. The property was well - equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a convenient base to explore Bend.

Perfect home away from home

Old Bend Chalet is perfect and more…besides great location in tree-lined, quiet, downtown historic neighborhood, the house is cozy, tastefully decorated, gas fireplaces, hot tub, views fromtwo balconies, and supplied with every amenity a visitor could want. The local owner/manager was easy to work with, responsive and more. Having rented in this neighborhood for nearly two decades while visiting family, the Old Bend Chalet tops all!!! It is for a senior singleton or couples or friends or families…you won’t be disappointed!

Perfect location in Bend.

This rental is a short 5-10 min walk to restaurants and bars. Excellent communication from Aaron. Enjoyed the hot tub. Very comfy bed and a quiet location.

Perfect Place

We came to Bend to visit our daughter. This was the perfect place to set up base. Easy walk to town. Garage parking was wonderfully convenient. Nice quiet neighborhood.

Location, location, location

House was great and we enjoyed the hot tub. We went to a concert at the amphitheater and shopped in Bend, all in walking distance. Could not beat the location. Appreciated having two rooms, a kitchen, two bathrooms, and we could all be together. Wonderful stay, thank you!

Great Location, Great House

Location cannot be beat, close to downtown and all the rec activities Bend has to offer. Great house, perfect for a couple, a family, or group of friends. Perfect for a winter or summer trip and perfect amount of space for people. All the little touches and amenities were perfect also, hot tub, etc. We'll definitely be back.

Great location!

We really enjoyed the location of the house! The house is comfortable and spacious. We loved the hot tub, those jets are something, and needed after all the walking we did. Our only complaint would be the beds, they definitely could be upgraded to something more comfortable.

Excellent Location & Very Comfortable

Our family of four was very comfortable staying here. We had everything we needed plus some thoughtful extras including condiments in the fridge and all the coffee fixings. There was lotion in the bathroom and it just felt like home. We walked to town easily. The home is in a safe neighborhood and everyone was very nice. We enjoyed the puzzles, ges and extra cozy blankets. For us the best part was having full access to the garage where we were able to safely store our bikes and biking gear! We would definitely stay here again!

Great stay in Bend!

We (4 adults) had a great stay in the "Bend Chalet"!! The property was exactly as shown in the profile and was clean, cozy and comfortable. Location was quiet and convenient (especially for walking to Downtown & Drake park area). House had everything needed for cooking some meals and "general" supplies. Will certainly consider staying here again in the future.
