    • Places to See: Consider visiting the Awbrey Reach section of the Deschutes River Trail system. This particular section offers breathtaking views of the river and is an ideal location for various activities, such as walking your dog, hiking with friends, or going for a run. If you're interested in exploring this section, make sure to stop by the front desk to get directions and trail maps of the area.

    We’re making upgrades, including paver improvements, with guest comfort in mind. While work is ongoing, we strive to minimize disruptions and appreciate your understanding.

    • A damage deposit of $50/night (for any damage, items missing or additional cleaning is required)
    • Overnight parking fee: $11.19 per night (includes $10.00 parking fee + $1.19 tax)
    • Pets: 1 Dog, $40 plus tax per night

    • Pool and hot tub hours: 8AM -10PM
    • Coin-operated laundry machines are available in the Bighorn and Sagebrush buildings.

Great stopping spot

My husband & I only stayed one night, but enjoyed our stay and the all the facilities had to offer. We discussed that we would like to come back as it would be a great place to stay when off hiking or exploring the city.We loved the restaurant and the outdoor seating along the Deschutes river, the food was top notch and very relaxing.

Booking through leavetown saved me

We’ve stayed at riverhouse many times - we needed an extended stay for this trip and I was skeptical since it was through a third party and not the hotel however it ended up saving us tons of booking fees.

Friendly, efficient check in staff. Coffee and tea options in lobby were great though no water dispenser. Noisy busy area surrounding property. Our room was through VRBO. Musty carpet and bathroom sink very slow to drain. Close to many restaurants and coffee shops in Bend.

Good location and amenities. The staff was responsive and courteous. I was accidentally charged multiple times resulting in a $966 debit from my account. It did eventually get fixed.

I was charged an additional 18% on top of the “final price” after I checked out. Leavetown said it was a mistake, but won’t refund the money. Riverhouse said there is nothing they can do and I’m stuck in the middle of this due to booking through this site. All around this was a bad experience.

Misleading charges

Booked this hotel for a one night stay to see a concert in the area. Check in staff was friendly, the room was mostly clean but some hair was found on the bedding and some stains in the bathroom.I received an additional charge that I was not made aware of in the Vrbo listing nor was I informed of the charge during check in. I later called to see what the charge was for and was informed that it is for a resort fee, parking, and taxes. This is frustrating that I was not aware of these charges when I initially booked, which also included separate taxes, service fees, and administrative fees. This listing was dishonest, and I would not recommend staying at this unethical hotel that scams guests with additional charges.
