Plan a family vacation that’s as relaxing or eventful as you want it to be in Bellevue. This 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom vacation rental is a stone’s throw away from Hanson Lake and great times. In addition to an unbeatable location, this cabin features a separate bunkhouse for the kids, plenty of beach gear to keep everyone entertained, and a spacious outdoor space. After a day on the water or exploring the area, grill up a delicious dinner for the whole group or roast marshmallows over the fire.

Beautiful House!

Had family in town for Thanksgiving holidays. The house was absolutely perfect. Beautifully decorated and super comfortable. My son said the bed was the most comfortable bed he has ever slept on. Owners were very responsive and made the stay very memorable. Thanks so much.

Pricey but Awesome

This is our second time staying at this property and it was just as amazing as the first time! Lots of amenities and plenty of fun beach/water toys to play with! The cleanliness was on point! My only complaint is the price - I watched the price for months after staying last year and finally settled on paying more than I wanted to just to get it booked. I'd love to come back again next year but not sure we can make it work. There are bigger houses near Disney in Florida for less than this costs a night. It makes me sad. But I will probably do the same this year and keep an eye on the price to see if we can come back because this place is great.

Excellent Beach Trip

This place is really beautiful. The landscaping is lovely and the layout is perfect. We had 4 adults and two kids. The hosts provide tons of towels and pillows, they even had s’mores ingredients waiting for us. The lake is gorgeous and quiet and the hosts had all the beach and water toys you could ask for! The outdoor bathroom and shower were just what we needed after a day in the lake. The hairdryer was outstanding. The location is less than twenty minutes from the zoo. Great trip!! If you are thinking about this spot, do it!!

Weekend getaway

Such a great place! Enjoyed a weekend getaway with the kids and grandparents :) The lake was fun and there were a ton of fun water toys for the kids. They had a blast and wanted to know when we could come back :)

Great family trip!

We had a fantastic few days at the LaPlatte lake house! When trying to find something to keep the family (kids 8, 6, 4 and 1) entertained, this was the perfect place. The sand and beach entrance to the lake was great for the smaller kids & the dock and lilly pad were great for the older kids! The bunk house really made it feel like a clubhouse for the kids and they loved their time there. We spent two days at the house enjoying the lake and spent one day at the Zoo. Morning coffee on the porch with my wife was relaxing and a great way to start the day. We even got to see a bald eagle hunting for fish in the lake one morning! The house was very clean. When we arrived, the beach was well groomed and the firepit was completely setup for the first bonfire - we did smores each night! Our hosts were even gracious enough to send us a handful of items we left behind (#kids). Thank you!

Amazing

Everything about this place is awesome. It looks a little small when you first pull up but the real surprise is the beach in the back. The space is huge! So much sand and room to run around and play, our kids loved it! The table and chairs under the shade were great for adults to sit and enjoy the day. There were plenty of beds for everyone (they were also very comfortable!), and the master bedroom was a nice size to stretch out and relax. We were sure to take advantage of all the water toys that were stored onsite! Wish we could have stayed longer to play with more of the fun toys, but we're already planning to come back so there's always next year! Communication was great, the experience was great, can't say enough about it. We will be back!

Great Lake Getaway

Perfect for our adult children /family getaway weekend. Our dog loved retrieving ball on sandy beach and swimming. Great water floaties, kayaks, peddle boat, Maui mat provided for time in and on the water. Bellevue, short 10-15 minute drive had a Walmart, Hyvee for groceries, restaurants etc. House has all the wonderful amenities. Great decorating, cleanliness, water view, outdoor seating, wonderful bedding in Master, fine sand on beach and nice shallow beach entry all helped to make this an excellent location to stay and spend time together. Thankful the owners would share this experience.

Everything about this rental is perfect. The check in was easy. The property is exactly how it appears online. The owners have thought of absolutely everything you might need to enjoy your stay. I will definitely stay here again!!

Amazing Place

Property is fantastic! We had 8 adults and stayed comfortably. Beds were great, kitchen had all the cooking “stuff” needed, private beach with volleyball net, cornhole, kayaks, paddle boat, floats, grill, and if you have kids a stack of sand toys too! Text the contact twice and they responded immediately. Indoor and outdoor bathroom and shower were great, huge tv, great WiFi, closet full of games, amazing fire pit with provided wood, can’t say enough about how amazing this place is!

Relaxing family fun!

We felt right at home during our stay. They really thought of everything we could’ve needed. They had plenty of outside toys for the 5 children (ages 6 and under) and for the adults as well. It was an easy drive to the zoo, but we could’ve spent the entire weekend at the cabin! The neighbors and people on the lake were very welcoming. We definitely want to go back.
