Monica couldn't have been more lovely to deal with. She was quick to respond to any query and I couldn't believe how well stocked the kitchen was, the fact that we were visiting from ireland meant we didn't want to have to buy olive oil or parchment paper and we didn't as it was already in the kitchen. The house was clean the beds were super comfy and the pool perfect for the kids to play in. The pizza oven was next level. I would definitely recommend.

Relaxing week innthe County

Our stay worked out perfectly thanks to this house. It was well equipped for everything - comfortable beds, pool, great glasses for sipping wine and a big kitchen for cooking together. The location was central. We brought our bikes and rode in a different direction each day. The screened in porch was a big plus. We never tried the pizza oven and will have to return to do that!

Lovely location for a family gathering/wedding in Picton.This property accommodated all our needs nicely. Lots of indoor and outdoor room for all. Pizza oven and kitchen worked wonderfully for all our foodies. You will not be disappointed with this location.

Family getaway

We stayed as a group of extended family, ages 6 to 75. The house was lovely and had everything we needed for a great weekend. Monica was helpful and responsive. The pizza oven was a highlight and we successfully managed to have ourselves a pizza feast! We would definitely stay again!

Relaxing Family Getaway

Our stay was spectacular in every aspect. The house is perfect for large families to enjoy quality time together. The home is equipped with EVERYTHING you can imagine-you can tell a lot of thought has gone into being a 5-star host. We were very comfortable and enjoyed ourselves here immensely. The host was incredibly kind, accessible and thoughtful. A must-go! Do not hesitate. Well worth it, in every aspect. Look no further in this area! We will definitely be back to this gem!

Retired teachers’ weekend getaway

Five of us met at this VRBO property for a long weekend of wine and cider sampling, shopping, touring and walking. The spacious, clean and comfortable house allowed us to each have our own room and to gather easily in the large, well-equipped kitchen, dining room and TV room for a great visit. We were close to many of the attractions in the County , another benefit of the location. It was a very enjoyable weekend away. With thanks to Monica.

Perfect PEC get away

We stayed for 5 days, and it was an amazing experience. The property is exactly as described, the house is extremely clean and well taken care of. We had absolutely no issues with our stay. The host was super accommodating, and was always responsive to our questions. The house is only minutes away from Picton, Lake on a Mountain (overview), many wineries and breweries. It is in the heart of PEC. We are definitely going to be looking to come back and revisit the area, and this will be our #1 choice of accomodations.

Beautiful stay in the country.

My husband and I had a lovely and peaceful stay at Old Milford House celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary. We did a lot of gravel biking throughout the countryside, made some amazing pizzas in the gorgeous stone pizza oven and generally relaxed in the pastoral setting of Prince Edward County. We love the food and wine scene there and will definitely be back!

Family Memories

We booked our weekend stay at Old Milford to attend a family wedding. Much to our surprise, the time at the property was just as special. Everyone enjoyed the time together and we took full advantage of all the features (basketball, pool, pizza oven etc.). We made lasting memories with our 3 adult sons and their girlfriends. Tranquility and comfort in Prince Edward County

We had such a wonderful time at Milford House. Everything was perfect from start to finish. This is a stunning century+ home with the charm of the past and every modern convenience. The kitchen was a dream to cook in and even had sharp knives!! A first for me in short term rentals. Didnt have to pull out my own knives!! Monica was so helpful, and had really thought of everything. Gorgeous fluffy towels, comfy beds... The garden area is much larger that it looks in the pictures, and it unfolded like a series of beautiful rooms. We loved having the pool. The location is great. Close to all areas of interest in the county, yet tranquil. We will definitely be back!! Thank you Monica

Amazing Setting to Connect with Family and Friends!!

We are from Toronto, so it was a huge treat to have a space where our children could run outside and play on the grounds and play structure. The Pizza oven was well enjoyed along with the screened in porch (making for many memorable meals). The large number of bedrooms meant that our family and friends could be together but also have a quiet place apart from others to rest. PEC is filled with so many wonderful farms, hikes, and beaches - we were glad to be able to stay amidst all these special places. Thanks for sharing your home. The grounds are lovely, the kitchen is so functional, and the gathering rooms are fantastic.

50th Wedding Anniversary celebration with children and grand children

Excellent home and location with ample space and playground items for the young Grand Children. The pool was absolutely great and enjoyed by all. Highly recommended for a great holiday. Greatly enjoyed the nighttime fire pit.

Fabulous stay in PEC!

This property exceeded our expectations. Large farmhouse with everything you need. Clean, spacious and easily accommodates multiple families or friends. Between the authentic pizza oven, the pool and the screened in porch, we had no reason to leave the farmhouse - but of course did! Monica, the property host, was super communicative and when we had a question, very responsive. Would highly recommend this place for a getaway to PEC where you have a country feel but are close to all things to do.

Great County House

Wonderful time at the Old Milford House. Great location and minutes to every where you want to go in the County. House was full of character and perfect in every way, including a refreshing pool in the June heat wave. Didnt use the pizza oven but looked cool and there were instructions and fire wood if needed. Monica was a great host and was quick to reply with the few minor questions we had. Would love to come back !!

Best VRBO experience ever!

From the first communication with the host we knew this would be an amazing experience. Monica responded to all of my messages very promptly. She was a wealth of knowledge about everything that PEC had to offer! All of her recommendations were wonderful. The house is FANTASTIC! We had everything that we needed and more. The property is beautiful, with lovely gardens, a lovely back patio and a lovely pool to relax by. The addition of the screened porch was terrific. It allowed us to stay in nature, but not worry about the bugs! The beds, linens and towels were superior. If you’re looking for a getaway either with family or friends, THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY. Wonderful!

Our family had a wonderful weekend stay at Milford house. We attended a wedding at Compass Rose which is just down the road. Our young grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed the large property, play structure and swimming pool. The house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was perfect for us.

Amazing long weekend getaway

We had an amazing experience in this lovely renovated Victorian farmhouse. There was room for everyone to be together or pair off into smaller groups with the abundance of rooms and space. The kitchen was well equipped she the pizza oven was a very cool activity and produced some amazing food! We used the basketball court and the pool, as it was very warm this weekend! The host was very responsive to any queries we had. A lovely home in the county, close to all the things we wanted to do! Will definitely be back!

Great spot!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was a short drive to Picton, which made it convenient for exploring local breweries and restaurants. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and there was lots of space and games to entertain the kids. The pizza oven was a unique bonus! Incredible family getaway

My family and I had an amazing time at the Farmhouse! The home was beautiful with lots of space to hang out, and lovely design and decor. The exterior of the home was just as wonderful with lots of space for the kids and dogs to run around, plus a playground which got lots of use! Atmospheric Location for Thanksgiving weekend

The house was exactly as portrayed on line. It was an historic country home with all modern conveniences laid on. We loved all the indoor space, the really well planned and spacious kitchen, lots of seating areas, the private screened in back porch, and the kids loved the nearby woods and general play area. Everything worked out really well and we were sad to leave. A relaxing place to chill out.
