Accommodations: 3-4 Bedrooms, 2.5-3.5 baths, Sleeps up to 14 in home (3 more seasonally in Pool House bedroom. Pool House full bath & bedroom are available when pool is open May 1 - October 15.

The perfect, upscale, personal, country retreat. The home, hot tub and heated, in-ground pool are situated on 25 private acres on one of the highest elevations in Missouri. POOL IS HEATED & OPEN FROM MAY 1 - OCTOBER 15 EACH YEAR! The pool house includes a full bath, bedroom which sleeps 3, outdoor kitchen & gas grill, outdoor living room with gas fireplace, 75" 4K UHD Smart TV & wi-fi. You will enter Big Oak Lodge through an electronic security gate and follow a private lane which leads to the home. The property is located in a quiet area where you can truly unwind and enjoy a peaceful retreat from everyday life. There is also a 5 acre lake on the property for your use. You will find this to be a perfect getaway whether you are looking to spend quality time with your family, a romantic getaway for two or an escape for you and your closest friends.

MAIN LEVEL FEATURES: As you walk through the front door, the first thing that will capture your attention is the view of the lake and the horizon. The living room's 16 foot wall of glass allows you to take in all the views. The living room and kitchen is open, perfect for food, fun and fellowship. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots/pans, eating utensils, tile floors, large center island with a dining bar. The dining area seats six. Enjoy your meals while looking at the lake and the 15 mile view of the rolling hills.

ADDITIONAL MAIN LEVEL FEATURES: Sliding glass doors from kitchen, living room and master bedroom lead to the wrap-around deck.

OUTSIDE: Enjoy a walk by the private Lake, sit in the Gazebo, enjoy the manicured grounds, swim in the heated, in-ground pool or just kick-back and relax in the hot tub.

NEAR BY: The Gasconade river is about 5 minutes away, the Osage River is 20 minutes away, Fugitive Beach Waterpark is 45 minutes away, and the Lake of the Ozarks is an hour away.

The Herman Winery is located 30 minutes away, Westphalia Winery 20 minutes away and Wenwood Farm Winery 15 minutes away. SURVEILLANCE DEVICES: VRBO and the host are committed to protecting the privacy and security of hosts and guests. The VRBO policy allows reasonable monitoring of the outside of the property while still protecting privacy inside the home. There are no surveillance devices operating inside the home. There are surveillance devices (outdoor cameras) operating outside the home and are in use strictly for security purposes. Location and coverage of the easily visible devices are further disclosed at the property. Surveillance data is automatically deleted.

Beautiful house and property. Fantastic view from deck. Enjoyed heated pool, hot tub, tv/gas fireplace in pool area, kayaking on lake, evening fire pit and star gazing. Owner very responsive and easy to contact.

The property was amazing with so many fun outdoor activities including, but not limited to, frisbee golf (we used a football), fishing (catch and release and pretty good-sized fish!), hot tub, frollicking and traversing the property. The hosts were more than responsive and the place was immaculately clean. Our kids (7-9yo) had a blast and didn't want to leave, neither did we!

If you are looking for a secluded retreat then this is the place to stay! Check in was very easy with all information being sent ahead of time. Host checked in on us throughout the stay. Outdoor area is incredible!! Pool and hot tub were wonderful and clean. Tons of outdoor seating areas. We had great weather and ate outside for all of our meals. House was very clean and kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of towels and extra bedding. Belle is just a few minutes away for groceries and 2 cute ice cream and custard shops. Two great boutiques and another one in Linn that were fun to shop at. An absolutely amazing property and we can't wait to go back next year for our family vacation!!

In our 4 years of using VRBO this is our best stay EVER, it was immediately our home! This home, literally, has everything you will need. Tyler’s checked in to make sure our stay was as expected. He was quick with replies to our questions: due to multiple beautiful storms we watched roll in, a teens broken cell phone and pool cover questions. Dave the Ambassador Duck is really the best “dog” and all ages of our family enjoyed him (I thought about duck napping him home with me).

Beautiful place to stay. Kids loved the pool and adults enjoyed sitting in the hot tub overlooking the pool by day and looking up at the stars at night. The TV and grill by the pool were the biggest selling point for us. Loved grilling out with everyone and having dinner by the pool. The internet was very spotty. Host came to fix one day but we would need to restart the router daily. The Internet would be out for hours some days and couldn't watch Olympics. The catch and release fishing pond was great. Easy to catch bass with some top water lures. Had plenty of firewood available for fires.

We booked the lodge for a family reunion of 14 with a mix of adults and kids. The house is beautiful and tucked away off the road. We spent the week floating in the pool, fishing in the pond, playing games, and relaxing. Best vacation we’ve ever had. The lodge has everything you need. Tyler was extremely responsive and great to deal with. Everyone left wishing we had booked a few more days, it was that perfect. We will definitely be coming back! Thanks Tyler.

Wonderful stay. Exactly what we needed. The house was slightly smaller than we thought. We had 9 adults and it was tight. Would suggest no more than 6 adults. Pool house is more suited to teens. All in all, it was it was beautiful and serene and I would highly recommend this property to others. Randy was extremely helpful and one of the better vrbo hosts I have worked with.

This place is amazing with all the amenities you would need in one locations! We loved that we never had to go anywhere to find a new activity for our family to do. The pool was fun and warm, the pond was stocked with great fish to catch. The house was comfortable and the beds were great to sleep in. The host checked up on us to make sure everything was going well. Great place and we will be coming back again!

Thank you for hosting my family. Listing was accurate and the property was as advertised. We utilized the pool every day - multiple times. Our kids ages 5 and 10 years old loved the pool, trail around the lake, and fishing in the morning. Great communication with the host, easy access, and everything was clean. We were all impressed with the property. The house and grounds were beautiful! There was 9 in our group, mixed ages, and we all enjoyed our stay very much! The house had everything we needed as was said and was so comfortable feeling! We all really enjoyed the heated pool & slide and hot tub a lot. Let’s not forget the fishing too! They were sure biting!! Grandkids loved it!! The host made everything so easy from making the reservation to checking in and making sure we had all we needed. And the “ambassador “ Dave the duck was loved by all. The grandkids loved giving him oyster crackers! Definitely on our revisit list!!!

Place has everything you could need for an awesome vacation. Pay attention to hidden fees because there are fees for “extra guests” even though it says it sleeps 14 and we only had 10. The cleaning fee is also outrageous as you’re expected to leave the place clean when you leave. The house was amazing and had everything you could need. The owner was very responsive to anny questions and even provided bags of ice for our coolers for the entire stay. The heated pool is fantastic. The lake has tons of great fishing but it was mostly covered in algae which made kids fishing nearly impossible. There are even several disc golf baskets that were a pleasant surprise when we arrived. I’d say the place was perfect if it weren’t for the very pricey added hidden fees.

4 women (60ish.) House nice, pool and hot tub amazing. We had planned to have someone stay in the poolhouse. It ended up we didnt use it, maybe okay for younger ones but not us. We did a lot of walking around the lake, kayaked and enjoyed Dave the duck and his Canadian goose friend. Property manager 5***** 's. Great weather all week! Thanks for sharing your vacation rental- we had a wonderful time.

This place is absolutely amazing! It has everything you need. We had adults and an infant and it felt like home. Everyone was comfortable. The owner is wonderful with communicating to make sure your stay is everything you want it to be. This was my second time here and I will definitely come for a 3rd!
