Hermitage House was the base for exploring Spearfish and Deadwood. If you get in this area please check out this home. It exceeded our expectations. The home is spotless and shows as brand new. Beds are comfortable. View is incredible. Can't say enough good things. Turkeys greated us on arrival and the deer gathered to say goodby.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Hermitage Guesthouse! The house is absolutely impeccable - the cleanest rental property I’ve ever stayed at. The interior is spotless and beautifully decorated. It was comfortable, relaxing, and just the right size for our party of five. The property is so quiet and peaceful, yet just a short drive to Belle Fourche or Spearfish. I highly recommend this property and hope to come back soon!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Hermitage Guesthouse! The location is perfect...you feel like you are in the country, but you are just a few minutes from town. The home is brand new and so tastefully decorated. WiFi worked well, but we spent most of our time outdoors admiring the deer, turkeys, horses and birds. Melissa is an excellent hostess and very responsive! Kitchen and bath are very well appointed, and there was nothing we lacked. Only wish we could have stayed longer. Next time, for sure! Thank you for allowing us to share your amazing guesthouse!

Excellent choice for Spearfish/Belle Fourche Stay

This was a very nice property to stay at. Very clean, inviting and well cared for. We enjoyed the quiet setting, views of the the Black Hills to the south and the pines to the north. Close to town but just off the main roads to give you the "out in the country" feel. We would highly recommend the property and will stay here again when back in the area. Owner was very easy to communicate with and we needed nothing during our stay.

Beautiful, welcoming home away from home

We loved our stay at this one-of-a-kind home in gorgeous Belle Fourche South Dakota. The house was spotless and had all the right charm and amenities, including clean pots and pans, comfortable sheets, and amazing views. I highly recommend staying in this wonderful property!

True “Home Away From Home” in every sense of the words. Beautiful views, wildlife, wild flowers, trees and fresh air. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, beds were cozy and comfy, and the front and back porches had the perfect seating areas to have the morning coffee and watching the sunrise. Melissa was very responsive during the booking phase through checkout. Will be back for sure!!
