"We were disappointed on a few aspects of the place but it was good overall.The Bad: The place reeked of smoke. It was listed as a non-smoking unit but that rule had clearly not been respected for a long time, or by many people. It was apparent every time you walked in. The bathroom curtain had a burn mark as evidence. "Beautiful and convenient location right on the water! Communication with the host was good. We arrived by train and had to find our way in the rain, and at night. I would recommend arriving in the light of day. The dark and rainy night made the navigation with gps a little difficult.The photos in the directions were helpful, however in the dark it was a bit unclear how far to walk after getting the keys. I kept wondering if there was a way to enter without going through the parking area. Great...

"Le propriétaire est venu nous chercher à la gare en automobile pour nous faciliter le transport des bagages. Nous découvrons la maison qui est propre, fonctionnelle, avec un jardin et une terrasse. Il fait chaud mais la climatisation nous permet de faire redescendre la température. Toutes les prestations présentées sont effectives. Bellano est une super station au bord du lac de Côme sans l'effervescence touristique des Bellagio, Tremezzo et autres Varenna. Un bateau permet néanmoins facilement...

"We loved the location of the apartment, basically across the street from the train station. Love the lake view from the kitchen and terrace. We visited Bellagio, Menaggio, Varenna and Como but in the end we loved our decision to stay in Bellano- it is a quiet residential city, not many tourists. "

"The views of Lake Como and the mountains were beyond expectation. Everything about the stay was well done including our initial inquiries as to the AC / Heat settings. Private parking was as promised but it was underneath the unit so stairs involved.We recommend this host!!"
