Just one mile from the slopes and golf courses of Schuss Mountain, this home puts you close to the action while offering the peace and privacy of a wooded setting. Guests love how quiet and relaxing the location feels, yet it’s only 10 minutes to Bellaire for dining, shopping, and Short’s Brewing Company, and just 12 miles to Torch Lake for summer fun.

Inside, you’ll find two spacious living areas—perfect for spreading out or gathering together. With three streaming TVs, wireless Starlink internet, and two levels of open living space, everyone can unwind their way. The home is well-stocked for cooking, featuring a full kitchen with everything you need for family meals, plus a gas grill on the large deck for outdoor dining.

Guests rave about the cleanliness, comfort, and plenty of room for multiple families, with three full bathrooms making mornings easy. There’s even AC on all levels, window units for extra comfort, and a small fire pit for s’mores under the stars (just bring your own wood). You’ll also enjoy access to pools at both Summit and Schuss Villages, making it a hit in every season.

Golf trip

Great place to stay. Secluded in the woods and a great spot to hang out with friends or family. We were there for a golf trip. It is very close to all of the courses and an easy drive. We would definitely go back!

Awesome Family Condo at Schuss

We had a wonderful experience during our 4 day family stay. The condo was spacious, and the three levels provided good separation for three couples and their children, but had great living/dining/kitchen space for when we all wanted to be together. Also this is one off the few places I found with AC on all levels, which turned out to be a necessity the week we stayed. Host is courteous, friendly, and responsive. Check in/ check out was a breeze. Looking forward to staying again!

Amazing Stay!

Our family of 12 (3 generations) stayed here while participating in a family reunion. It was a perfect fit! Easy check in and check out. Great communication from the owners. We highly recommend it.

Nice house in the middle of the woods..

Location was great. It was close to everything that we needed to get to. Great space for all the family. Maybe take a look at the first step on the stairs going up, too narrow a few of Us took a fall going down. Kitchen faucet pressure was too low But overall it was great.

Disappointing

Our stay began on the wrong foot when we arrived at the house on a 96* afternoon to find that not only was there not the central air we were told there would be, the 3 window units that were the cooling for the entire house weren’t even installed. We went on to find that there wasn’t working tv/cable, the large deck was unsafe due to broken and soft boards, the master toilet wasn’t flushing and much to my 12 year old nephew’s dismay, the large arcade game shown in the listing didn’t work. There continued to be other issues during our stay. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because the house was spacious - which was perfect for our large family and the property manager was quick to respond to my messages and did offer compensation for our troubles. However, I would not rent this house again.

Good renovations

The property is clean and appears to have been recently renovated. The management of this property seems to need improvement. There are remotes everywhere, dvd players randomly located, and it was challenging to get things to work. The large arcade game was in a photo in the ad and also did not work. Seems it just needs a little TLC on a regular basis.

Excellent chalet

The house was prefect for our extend family ski trip! The cousins all shared the upstairs room and each sets of adults had their own space. There was room for people to hang out separately or together. It was 5 minutes to the slopes and about 10 minutes into town. We come up skiing often to this area and this will now be our favorite house to rent!

Would not recommend. Only reason for any good rating is due to quick response when contacted!

The checking time was 4pm but Vrbo listed time was 3pm. Upon arrival the place was not cleaned at all. Stuff on carpets, Dinning table, floors, sofas everywhere including dirty tissues on floor, and bathrooms not cleaned either. During Covid19 years this did not start the stay off right. The Property contact person did respond right away and sent someone over to clean. When she did clean you can see and she confirm that the person who came to clean did not do anything at all. She just swept the kitchen area and got a good pile of food crumbs and dirty. I understand these days good help is hard to find but cleanliness does not have to take a back seat during these times. There is a typo in your address that you give for the location Please correct it as well. Overall the only good thing was the quick response of the contact person but due to lack of cleanliness I would not recommend this place to others and will not be coming back as well. Sorry feel bad leaving this review but nothing was compensated about the issues we had when there are cleaning fees charged ahead of time anyways.

Outdoor Getaway

We had a group of dirt bike riders come to the area and choose to stay at this house. Great property and very clean. We all enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to anyone with a large group or family.
