Great Location For Ski / Tubing at Shanty Creek Resorts!

With a short walk to The Lakeview Hotel and Summit tubing park, or 3-mile drive to the Schuss slopes, this 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom condominium is conveniently located to all the amenities at Shanty Creek Resorts. Comfortable, quiet and spacious accommodations with stone fireplace, full kitchen, jacuzzi tub and heated tile in both baths, king bed in both bedrooms, full living room and in-unit laundry (great for drying that outer wear after a day on the slopes). Accommodates up to 8 guests.

Guests are welcome to use the indoor pool at The Lakeview. Access to the cross country trails is just across the street. Save some energy for an awesome sledding hill just off of the back deck.

At Shanty Creek Resorts you are 2 miles from downtown Bellaire and Short’s Brewery, 45 - 50 minutes to Traverse City, Petoskey or Gaylord! Truly a convenient location to take in so many great destinations in northern Michigan.

Note: While this unit is on the lower level, The Legend Cottages are built in to the side of a hill. All guests should be comfortable navigating 1 1/2 flights of stairs to reach the entry.

Beautiful location and welcoming space to relax. Very clean. Very spacious. Perfect for our girls getaway with mom and sisters. Heated floors were fabulous for the cold mornings. The fireplace was just perfect for creating the cozy environment we were looking for. Kitchen had what we needed to cook a few meals. Communication with the host was timely and helpful. The view and the balcony were superb. Seriously 10 out of 10.

We have stayed at Shanty Creek many times and this unit is excellent as we expected. The one problem was the description on VRBO. The unit was described as first floor, which is technically correct. We were dismayed to learn that this is a three-story building with the second floor on ground level and this unit on the basement level requiring 27 steps to navigate each time. My 91 year-old wife with heart problems had great difficulty doing this. We left the property only once each day and had to adjust our schedule accordingly. Six trips up and down these stairs with our luggage on arrival and departure didn’t help my 85-year-old heart much either.

Although I saw the photos online, I was surprised that the condo was large and well decorated, and had everything we needed, plus! Not just a 2nd bedroom, but a lock-off bedroom with a mini kitchen and jacuzzi tub! The view and serenity on the large balcony were another surprise. We didn't stay long enough to enjoy the lovely beach front down the road and the indoor-outdoor pools that are exceptional bonuses for this unit! I'll be back!

This is a great place to stay with spacious porch, wonderful rockers, and lovely view!! We enjoyed seeing golfers tee off in the morning. Was perfect for two couples with plenty of comfortable space and privacy. Convenient to DeWitt marina and boating. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely beautiful condo over looking the Legend golf course! Enjoyed the patio so much both in the morning with our coffee watching the golfers and in the evening watching the sunset! It was very quiet and clean! Beds were comfortable as were the livingroom furniture (which was barely used since the patio was so lovely)… the 2nd room was more like a small efficiency and was perfect to close out the kids mess! The bath tubs were lovely and the showers had great water pressure! Already booked our week for next summer and we cannot wait!

Great Place and Location

Peaceful mornings.

This condo was perfectly located away from all the hustle and bustle of Traverse City but close enough to enjoy everything the area had to offer. The mornings were quiet and peaceful, drinking my coffee on the back deck looking over the golf course.

Great Place to Stay!

We really liked the condo - it was perfect for a weekend stay with my wife, daughter, and parents. Scenery was nice, with plenty of deer in the fairway. Mike was great with communication. Would stay here again

Spacious and good location

Spacious and good location. Had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Carpet was outdated and near bathrooms but clean enough, whirlpool tub, washer/dryer a plus, quiet, and great views. Suggest bringing more towels (and for pool) and your own coffee. Would definitely stay here again, great price for everything you get.

Ski weekend

Had a code that didn’t work, so couldn’t access the unit for the first 2 hours, but problem was remedied quickly. Unit had everything we needed and was a great space for a family or 2! Great location!
