Fabulous exclusive apartment, on the ground floor of an ancient 17th century mansion, renovated in 2016 with great care and attention to detail.
"Il Giardino di Casa Loreti" has a wonderful historic Italian-style garden, with gravel paths, large magnolias, palm trees and flowers typical of the gardens of Lake Como: azaleas, hydrangeas, oleanders. In addition, the garden has a stone fountain, table, chairs and barbecue.
The apartment has a bright living room, with large windows overlooking the garden, Lombard terracotta floors and local stone; early twentieth-century furniture of Lombard craftsmanship, "Pompadour" style fireplace, Parisian mirror and prints from the mid-1800s.
Modern kitchen, with fridge, freezer, 4 burner gas, oven, dishwasher, pots and pans, coffee maker. Digital TV and washing machine. Safe.
The bedroom is located in a warm and welcoming mezzanine, it has a French double bed. Bathroom with shower, hairdryer and a charming old stone sink.

Upon your arrival you will find brochures and information material on Bellagio and the lake area; maps, timetables and suggestions for cruises and excursions: everything you need to get the best out of your holiday !!
Just 30 meters from the house there is the lake shore and the scenic Piazza di San Giovanni, overlooking the lake, where the view extends to the Alps. In the old port you can admire the fishing boats, and walking through its narrow streets you can breathe the medieval atmosphere.

Our stay was unpleasant to the point we had to leave after 2 days. The main reasons for this were the tiger mosquitoes everywhere in the garden surrounding the apartment combined with the heat. Upon welcoming us the property manager was praisi g the beautiful garden that was just for us. By the time we crossed the garden to reach the apartment we had already been bitten several times. The owner provided some product to burn outside to keep mosquitoes away but it did not work. It also provided a diffuser inside.Amy time from dawn to dusk

This is a beautiful apartment with a huge private garden. it's located a few steps from the lake, beaches and has a great cafe bar and local seafood restaurant nearby. It's close to Bellagio but away from the crowds. Thanks to Lucia and family for a wonderful stay.

This place is a secret tip

We had a wonderful and relaxing vacation in this charming place. We most enjoyed having our own all fenced in garden with palmtrees, relaxing time on our own and still able to be in 2 Min walkway to the beautiful lake and with the cute train or the ferry in Bellagio without moving our car. The apartment fulfills everything how it is promoted. The communication and assistance of Lucia was given at any time and very sincere, thank you very much! This place is a secret tip - also for well behaved dogs!

Idyllisch Italië

Prachtige locatie met een prachtige tuin! Het huis heeft geen airco, maar is heerlijk koel. San Giovanni is mooi idyllisch plaatsje, dat iets meer afgelegen is. Dit is erg rustig en gemoedelijk, maar er zijn ook iets minder restaurants op loopafstand. Deze zijn veelal in Bellagio centrum te vinden, maar 30min wandelen met een hond in 30 graden langs een doorgaande autoweg is niet fijn. Wij raden toch aan om met de auto te gaan. Het gebrek aan WiFi (voor het opzoeken van informatie/tijden over musea/watershuttle/restaurant reserveringen etc) is ook wel onhandig gebleken. Hiervoor moet je naar een lokale bar op 50m afstand. Ook de 3G verbinding is erg onstabiel in deze omgeving. Tip: Zoek alles thuis op voor vertrek! En vergeet voor je muggenspray niet.

Toller Urlaub, schönes Haus, Traumgarten und beste Betreuerfamilie

Wir sind sehr glücklich bei diesem Haus und dieer super lieben Familie, die uns betreut hat, gelandet zu sein. Das Haus ist exakt wie beschrieben und der Garten ein Traum. Als Stadtkinder mussten wir uns, zugegeben, erstmal an das liebe Krabbelgetier gewöhnen, aber das hat nichts mit der Unterkunft direkt zu tun. Ist halt ein echt großer Garten. Alles war sauber und super vorbereitet und die Familie hat uns jederzeit bei Fragen und kleinen Problemen geholfen. Die Lage ist top, knapp 50 Meter zum Wasser und von dort ist man überall schnell mit der Fähre. Auch mit dem eigenen Auto hatten wir keinerlei Probleme. Gleich neben dem Haus ist ein öffentlicher Parkplatz, wo wir zu jeder Tageszeit einen Platz bekommen haben. Auch im Stadtkern von Bellagio hatten wir nie Parkplatzprobleme. An Einrichtung im Haus fehlt nichts und auch bei deutlich über 30 Grad war es drinnen überraschend kühl. Alles in allem 5/5 Sterne.

Eine sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit behaglich-geschmackvollem Flair

Das mit antiken Möbeln geschmackvoll eingerichtete Appartement bildet mit dem parkähnlichen Garten ein einmaliges Ensemble. Küche und Bad lassen keine Wünsche offen. Die Lage im Ortsteil San Giovanni ist super. Ein kleines Restaurant und ein Bistro liegen nur wenige Meter entfernt. Die Gastgeberinnen Lucia und Tochter Tania sind sehr freundlich und haben unseren Aufenthalt mit herzlicher Zuwendung und Hilfsbereitschaft begleitet. Ihre Tipps und Anregungen für Ausflüge und Touren waren sehr hilfreich für uns. Wir haben in diesem Appartment einen ganz besonders schönen Urlaub verlebt. Gerne kommen wir wieder.
