"The property itself is outdated but the rooms are very clean and nice! The staff was wonderful during our stay. They are extremely accommodating to families. Overall, we would travel here again and would recommend it. "

"Very comfortable bed and room, excellent location, loved drinking coffee on our patio overlooking the sea and watching the boats come and go from the harbor and the birds and other wildlife-we watched otters playing on our last day! Very quiet and fun little beach just steps down from our room. Short walk to two local and fun cafes. No elevator so you need to be able to carry your belongings upstairs or ask for the first floor. Older motel but nice updates in rooms. Would absolutely return to...

"1. Easy walk to Victoria ferry terminal 2. No air conditioning…room was very stuffy at check-in, window fan running in unsecured open slider window. Room did cool down by 8pm. There was an additional floor fan to stir the air. 3. Room was on ground floor, persons in 2nd floor room kept pacing until 11pm. Annoying. 4. Light fixture/exhaust fan in bathroom missing cover, bare light bulb showing. 5. Refrigerator/freezer missing handle, duct taped. The freezer was totally frosted up. Was able to...

"There was a bit of a fiasco with the reservation, not the motel's fault at all though. And when they couldn't find me they were about to give me a complimentary room until it got settled! Fortunately, it all got straightened out and I was able to go to my room. They were patient and friendly through the whole experience and gave me a bottled water. I would stay here again and recommend it. Thank you for you patiyand understanding in the mix up!"

"The spacious corner suite we had looked out onto the bay from two sides and had a pleasant balcony to sit on. The hotel's restaurant served very good food and fulfilled all of our food needs during the stay. The grounds add charm. The mood is quirky and creative."

"Friendly staff, a clean room Nothing fancy, but just a place to get some rest. I would have preferred a coffee pot in the room though. There is one in the lobby. I just needed a place to sleep overnight and it served that purpose."
