Built using rammed earth, stone, and adobe brick, the house was rehabilitated with a strong focus on sustainability and minimizing the use of plastic and cement. We prioritized traditional methods and materials, aiming for their self-preservation, as well as optimizing all the advantages of this type of construction typical of the Mediterranean region. Rammed earth construction, in addition to being a highly sustainable and CO2-absorbing type of construction, is also the form of construction that offers the greatest comfort to its inhabitants during periods of extreme temperatures (summer/winter), without resorting to artificial air conditioning methods. To complement this, it has all the amenities required in our times, notably a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with natural ventilation, air conditioning, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, and a small patio with complete privacy where you can enjoy meals or simply relax. Our house is located on a quiet street in the historic center of Beja, a 2-minute walk from the Castle and the main Museums, and a 3-minute walk from the supermarket and traditional market on Saturday mornings. There is also a viewpoint with a terrace just a 1-minute walk away.
