"Great location for travel into York, Knaresborough and Harrogate, the cottage had a proper rustic feel to it and was very cosy whilst remaining practical. The owners were friendly and didn’t mind us going to visit their farm animals each morning, llamas, goats, ponies etc, which was a lovely touch. "

"Beautiful n great village..plenty of room, beds, bathrooms..shower door in downstairs bathroom was broke, also vent on outside was broke and birds we're building a nest. Handle on frig could be bigger. The large table was great for our family, Needed a little TLC in dusting n cobwebs. Great parking.. overall good, would stay again. Sheets could be cleaner n fresher smelling, sorry for all the complaints,but if it was mine I would want to know."

"Tucked Away Cottage is a peaceful, comfortable base right in the middle of Grassington. It’s within literally a few paces of great pubs and small local shops - with lots of nice walks on the doorstep too. Did good hikes to Bolton Abbey, Buckden Pike and Malham Cove/Tarn. Even managed an unavoidable day’s work thanks to the good wifi. Parking right outside the front door is a real bonus. Thanks!"

The location could not have been better with the ability to walk to the Aysgarth Falls and Bolton Castle, and to embark upon longer drives and hikes throughout the Dales. "This cottage is represented well by the photographs on the website. It had everything we needed for our stay. We are two adults and two children (15, 12) and there was adequate room for us all. There were no issues with parking directly outside the property, we managed to get a space everytime. Helmsley is a lovely place, everyone was very friendly. This cottage was an excellent base for exploring the nearby area."
