"The property needed a little love, but it was a nice stay. We enjoyed the whirlpool tub and the location to the town was great. Breakfast was pretty good. The pool was cold, but nice to swim in nonetheless. The spot out front with the rocking chairs was nice and we were able to meet some people and make some new friends."

"BIG, spacious rooms at a hotel that appears to be a converted apartment complex. Our room had a private balcony, a great view, a full kitchenette with dishwasher, stove and microwave, and a TV with a LOT of channels. The furnishings are a bit dated, but that was no bother for us. We appreciated the very spacious room, friendly staff, easy parking, proximity to shops and dining, things to do (the pool & hot tub were closed for maintenance on our visit, but are often available, plus a gathering...

"The location of The Artist Colony couldn’t be better. Right in the middle of town so it was very easy to take our packages back or take a short break. The rooms are all upstairs but there is an elevator to get our luggage to our room. We did enjoy sitting out on the balcony. There is also a restaurant on the main level which we tried twice. I was disappointed in both my meals but there are several others close by. I would definitely stay there again mainly due to the location."

"Was not impressed with the room we stayed in. There was no chair in the room to sit in. No ice maker easily accessible to the rooms. We did find an ice maker in the office area but it was very small and didn't make a lot of ice."

"The Hampton Inn in Edinburgh, Indiana was an excellent place to stay. Very helpful staff checking in that helped us pick a near by restaurant for dinner. The room was really nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable. When checking out the next morning more helpful staff. I jokingly said I wanted to steal the soft pillows. They woman said I was the second person to say that...lol...then informed me that I could purchase new ones if the had any in stock. So guess who had a great night's...
