They had gone to a lot of effort to supply breakfast items in the shared kitchen and it was obviously visited each day by a host as it was tidied and rubbish cleared but some cupboards had random packets and crumbs,the salt and pepper pots were dirty and sticky. "Fantastic location right on the Esplanade and there was plenty of for parking behind & in front of the hotel. You can see that there has been alot of work/money put into this property. There are loving public areas with large velvet couches to enjoy reading a book etc. The restaurant was large with a good menu. "Very pretty looking coach house placed in the centre of town with its own parking.Extremely clean rooms. Good cooked breakfast to start day. Prefect place to stay while visiting the area."

"Read the reviews and was slightly put off. But having spent the whole weekend at the hotel, my mind was changed. Staff were very helpful with all questions and information needed. Grounds and views are lovely. Used the spa and pool and enjoyed every minute. Check in and out was very easy, food was amazing (especially the lamb). Will definitely be back to visit in the next few weeks. Only thing I would ask if bottles of water could be put in the annex room, as im very fussy and refuse to drink...

"We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. "
