  • Cabaña de 3 dormitorios y 2 baños en el bosque rodeada de agua: cruce nuestro arroyo de montaña al ingresar a la propiedad y disfrute del río Vallecito que atraviesa la parte posterior. La cabaña está ubicada en una zona tranquila y relajante entre majestuosos pinos ponderosa, abetos y abetos. Disfruta del ambiente sereno y relajante y observa la vida salvaje local jugar entre los árboles o tal vez atrapar a un ciervo mula a la deriva. This property was perfect for relaxing on the porch and enjoying the beauty of Colorado. Although the Oct flood had changed the view of the river behind the property, it was still a peaceful site. The place was very clean and supplies were everything we needed. The location was great for meeting family staying in another property within walking distance. We were able to get around to many places close to Vallecito Lake but also not too far to drive to Honeyville and Silverton. Will be checking on availability for reserving again next year!

The area was beautiful but the pictures and river access are a little inaccurate at the moment. The big floods last year brought a ton of rock into the creek bed and surrounding area and it is actually really difficult to walk to the edge of the creek. The fire pit was awesome though and the house was comfortable.

The cabin was clean and the kitchen had been remodeled since the last time we were there and was great. There was a flood back in October that diverted the river in front of the cabin and tons of rocks were where the river used to be. There was still some river (creek) flow in front of the cabin but the big flow of the river was on the opposite side of the cabin. Still beautiful. We managed to love it anyway. Good hiking and relaxtion.

The cabin and location were great, so peaceful and quiet. Beautiful views along the river. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen had everything we needed. Very comfortable and cozy. Would definitely stay again and recommend!

Cute and comfortable house

The house was in a quiet and private spot. We enjoyed the views around the house, especially down by the water. Everything was clean and well-stocked.

Wedding weekend getaway

We got married at the community event center in Vallecito and stayed here for the weekend. Loved being by the creek, with the fire pit. Had a great time and stay.

Family vacation

This was a great property for our family vacation. The house was very comfortable for our family of 6 and dogs. Being able to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the river flowing was the icing on the cake.

We loved everything about this cabin! The creek, seeing adult deer, serene and solitude but still accessible (~45 minutes) to Durango. Beautiful and we'd absolutely come back here!
