Geraldine’s apartment is perfectly equipped. She even had wine in the refrigerator for us, and delicious coffee ready for the morning. It is also very close to a grocery store - for us this was an added bonus. Bayeux, in case you don’t know yet, is the best place to stay for touring D-Day sights. If this place is available when you are planning ur trip, GRAB IT! You won’t regret it!

Geraldine our host was amazing! Best host we have ever had on VRBO!!! She was so helpful with booking, check in, dinner ideas, setting up reservations and taxi for us. She met us at the apartment and showed us around. The apartment exceeded our expectations and had everything we needed. Beautiful apartment and would stay there again and highly recommend. The location is great and walking distance to old town. Also great location for all the DDay sights and museums. Thanks Geraldine for making our stay amazing!

This was the best VRBO we ever stayed at. We did not use the laundry. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The apartment could not have been cleaner. Geraldine was a gracious and accommodating host. Furniture and beds very comfortable. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Immaculate apartment just outside of downtown Bayeux. Clean, quiet & very well appointed. A lovely 2 BR, 1B that was perfect for 2 couples. Geraldine recommended a wonderful restaurant in Port-en-Bessin-Haupain that was devine. She even made a reservation for us. Walk, don't run to this fabulous hidden gem in Bayeux!

Geraldine's apartment is very modern and airy - the furnishings are new and very comfortable. Large and well-stocked kitchen, with all the appliances you could wish for. Bathroom is also modern and clean. The two bedrooms offer good separation, and roomy closets and other storage. We had been traveling before we arrived, and we especially appreciated the washer/dryer. Geraldine was in touch with us before we arrived, and was there to greet us. Her husband even kindly carried most of our bags into the building. Geraldine was available for questions and suggestions throughout our stay, and she shared with us places to go we had not been aware of. She is a wonderful host.We were in Bayeux to visit D-Day sites, and the location of the apartment was fine for us to drive a short distance to meet the tour guides. There are grocery stores and gas stations nearby, too. I recommend this apartment, especially if you are gojng to be youring the D-Day sites.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in Bayeux at Geraldine's apartment. She met us on our arrival and showed us the property, provided maps, and pointed out events occurring during our stay (e.g., farmers' markets, Cathedral lighting). The apartment is well located, in a neighborhood with a nearby gas station and supermarket and about a 15 to 20 minute walk into the old town center. The parking space made this apartment a great base for touring the sites in Normandy. The apartment is spacious and clean and the kitchen is set up well for cooking, which we did on a Sunday night after going to the fish market and farmers' market in Port-en-Bessin. We would definitely stay here again.

Freshly updated with beautiful decor. Geraldine did an excellent job showing us the apartment and giving us an overview of the Normandy area. Throughout our stay we used WhatsApp to user her as our concierge. She was very helpful The main bedroom is a memory foam mattress and I found it very comfortable. I slept better than at home. Only downside I can think of is the shower is only handheld and not mounted to the wall. It was more than adequate though for our 3 day stay.Having laundry was very nice. If you plan on using it you might want to get instructions. We struggled with the manufacturers card. One machine washes and dries the clothes.

Beautiful Property in Normandy

My wife and I stayed for five nights in this beautiful property in Bayeux. The property was very accurately described - in fact, it was better than we expected. Geraldine was a gracious host and met us to check in and tour the apartment. It was immaculately decorated and well stocked in the kitchen and bathroom. Geraldine even had a wonderful welcome gift for our arrival. Bayeux was a great base for exploring the D-Day beaches and many other historical sites. We loved our time here and thought Geraldine was one of the best hosts we have worked with during our travels.

Geraldine was wonderful! As our host, she was so attentive and willing to help make our trip perfect in every way. The location was great for access to Bayeux and central to all of the many historic sites of Normandy. The apartment was very nice with all the amenities one could ask for. Geraldine also provided many suggestions for activities in the area and made checking in and out very convenient! I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the area!

Amazing place to stay while in Bayeux

Wow, wow, wow! Not enough words to gush about our stay at Geraldine’s lovely flat! We were lucky enough to be the first occupants of her recently refurbished flat - she did an amazing job with the renovations! Everything in the flat looked exactly like the pictures. But even better, she thought of, and provided for, every conceivable thing that we would need to make it feel like home away from home.The location was just outside the main village, but still close enough to walk into town, or just a three minute drive into downtown. Having the parking spot was crucial as we used the flat as a place to regroup for the night after spending the day visiting the Normandy beaches, museums, WWII sites, and all other Normandy cities in the surrounding area.Geraldine was so great with her prompt messages - she responded very quickly with every communication. When we got to Bayeux, she was there to greet us, show us how to be familiar with the flat, and, best of all, gave us a list of recommendations of what to see, where to go, and where to eat in the surrounding area.Our time in Bayeux was wonderful due to Geraldine going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back.
