The best thing I can say about the house is that it was clean, except for a white substance that was smeared all over the refrigerator handles. At first I thought it was paint, but it did wash off. We had an issue getting the dryer to work and the host never responded until the next morning, to tell us that the housekeeper would be coming an hour before check-out time to get the laundry since the dryer wasn't working. There weren't enough washcloths for 4 people staying 3 nights, but there were enough towels. There was what appeared to be water damage that separated the living room ceiling from the wall/crown molding in one section and peeling paint in the master shower. Overall, we wouldn't stay there again for the price they charged.

Cute cottage just steps from the pier and boardwalk in Bay Saint Louis. We really enjoyed our stay here. The bedrooms were good sized, the high ceilings and large windows throughout made the whole house feel light and spacious. The kitchen had the bare essentials for preparing and eating meals at the house, which we did a few times. A downside to this property is that the dining table doesn’t have chairs that go with it. There is a bench and 4 barstools. The bench is a bit too low, and the barstools are a bit too high to comfortably sit while eating (we sat side saddle on the barstools). Not a deal breaker, but something to take into consideration if planning to eat many meals at the house. Downtown BSL and Waveland were nearby for eating out and browsing in local shops. We had great communication with the property owner the entire time. When we arrived she notified us that the dryer wasn’t working properly, but arranged for someone to attend to it while we were there. Unfortunately due to the repairman’s schedule, it wasn’t fixed until after our stay, so we were unable to do laundry like we would have otherwise. All in all, it was a lovely property and we would stay again!

Yes, our host Diedra, was very welcoming! We were taking a much needed rest from our summer and fall work. What a perfect place to take it! So quiet and relaxing for us!The house was perfect! Loved staying there! Loved the Bay!

Came down for a 5K run. Chose this location as it was right across from the pavilion where the race started. Overall it was a nice stay. There were signs of aging but it was clean and bed was comfortable. When I went to put the towels in the washer there was already a comforter in there that was wet so not sure what was up with that.

Nice with some improvements

Front porch could use some seating. Lawn not cut upon arrival but 2 days later was cut. Water damage in living room and master bathroom. Slight odor upon entering property. Downpouring rain makes leaving side door bad with no covering. Dryer was not drying clothes properly. Had to put on multiple cycles..hall bathroom cabinet had some damage by toilet prior to arrival. Doors to washer/dryer off track prior to arrival.

Great home

Property was great, short walk to beach. Very nice home. Short distance to restraunts. Soft beds and pillows. Not sure if that is why my back hurts. Only complaint, to bright in the morning and construction going on hearing hammers at 7am.Overall great stay, fun times

Pirates Weekend
