  • The Home Cottage está cerca de la ciudad de Wells más pequeña de Inglaterra, cerca de la moderna ciudad de Frome, el pintoresco pueblo de Mells y las colinas de Mendip. Bath (donde mis hijos van a la escuela todos los días) también está a solo 14 millas de distancia
    La cabaña es buena para parejas, aventureros en solitario, viajeros de negocios, familias (con niños) y perros.

    La cabaña se encuentra al final de una pista rural rodeada de campos. Está diseñado por un arquitecto, de nueva construcción, acogedor y tranquilo, con impresionantes vistas de los alrededores.

    Los huéspedes pueden acceder a una serie de senderos maravillosos directamente desde la cabaña.


    Vivimos cerca de la cabaña y deberíamos estar disponibles la mayor parte del tiempo para ayudar con cualquier consulta

    - El check-in es después de las 3pm y el check out antes de las 10am.
    - Un perro bien educado es bienvenido; Tenemos un maravilloso caminar. Sin embargo, por favor no arriba o en sofás.

Very sweet cottage, nicely renovated, great location, very clean and dog friendly. We really enjoyed our time at home cottage, we would certainly consider staying again.

Een prachtige plek, veel rust. Een heel mooi huisje zeer geschikt voor 2 personen. Uiteraard een prachtige omgeving. Enig puntje, een beetje smal en zacht bed, maar dat is natuurlijk persoonlijk. Echt genoten.

The Home Cottage was an excellent stay! The friendly neighborhood cows were definitely a hit and all the walks around the area made for a great get-away vacation. The entire village of Stoke St. Michael is kind and welcoming and we had a great time at the village pub making lots of friends! Our host was very communicative and the cottage had everything with could wish for! We cooked dinner most nights and the kitchen was perfect!

We had an idyllic 5 night stay in this beautiful cottage, very peaceful, surrounded by fields, there was a deer and her fawn in a nearby field every day and a pheasant wandering around the cottage most mornings. The cottage has all the amenities you need to feel like it’s a home away from home. Although it’s rural, there are lots of places to visit nearby.

Lovely location. Local walks right on the doorstep. Ideal for dog walks. Also secure garden. Cottage is cosy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Weekend away

We had a lovely weekend at this beautiful cottage - perfectly peaceful, and we loved sitting in front of the log burner in cold evenings! Would 100% recommend.

Great cottage retreat

Beautiful cosy cottage, well equipped with everything you could need, in a great location for walks and attractions further afield. Weather was awful during our March stay but watching the snow and rain from the comfort of the cottage, reading Infront of the woodburner was a wonderful way to spend a weekend!

We can’t praise this property enough. The location, the layout, the facilities, the cleanliness, the communication and the garden were all perfect. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Would love to come back for a longer stay. Thank you so much.

Such a peaceful place!

The cottage is such a cozy, calm and peaceful place to stay, the cows on the adjacent meadow are grazing slowly. It is perfect for a hike around Stoke St Michael, alongside brooks and abandoned places to discover. A perfect base for daily tours, no matter if up to Bath, the coast, or to more hikes, ruins, castles, cathedrals.

Beautiful Countryside Cottage

They left wonderful signs to indicate our directions to find the beautiful cottage, and when we got there we were in awe of the beautiful view and landscape. There is a beautiful grassy yard to play in when the weather is nice and when it’s a bit cold the living room has these beautiful glass doors so you can still feel the surroundings. They have really put a welcoming energy and feel in this home away from home!

Lovely cottage in lovely location

Cottage just georgous, lovely and quiet. We had a good rest whilst enjoying the local sites of Wells and Frome. We enjoyed a meal at the Oakhill pub at the end of the road, a very good recommendation. Beds were compfy, shower good, everything you need kitchen wise, garden great for our small dogs. The fire was great and we were kept very warm. For us, the sofa was the only downside. Ultimately we loved our stay ❤️

Idyllic peaceful cottage

Beautiful cottage in a quiet spot with lovely walks on the doorstep. Cottage is well equipped and tastefully furnished. Garden is pretty with views of rolling countryside. The enclosed garden, walks and having a good sized boot/utility room was great with our dog for drying off muddy paws/contained sleeping space. Lovely touches on arrival with fresh flowers in the kitchen and milk in the fridge, biscuits and tea/coffee. A great spot for getting out to see more of Somerset.

Holiday

It was a fantastic house, it had a great garden. But….. there was only one coutch, en 2 little chairs. The garden was big, but only four metal hard chairs. We missed a nice one, or two or three or four to ly down in the garden. But it was great, we liked Bristol, Glastonbury, Bath, Wells. Al lot of musea. The dog was very welcome in all these places. We could see all the places on my list. One week was to short

A cottage to fall in love with

We stayed for 5 days in this beautiful and quiet cottage. The communication regarding the arrival with Nick was excellent. We were greeted by a clean, detached house furnished with attention to detail. It was wonderful to look out over the countryside in the morning. Everything was available in the kitchen. The beds were very hygienically made and sleeping on good mattresses was good for our health. We are grateful that our old dog Elsa was allowed to stay with us. The property is fenced, so we didn't have to worry about her running away. It was our first time in England and we are very grateful to have found such a nice place to stay.
