Casa Midsomer cerca del baño - Hot Tub & Lodge

Midsomer House es una hermosa casa señorial construida en la época victoriana (1840). Es una propiedad muy grande, con 6 dormitorios, 2 baños y 3 baños. Está perfectamente situado en el corazón del suroeste y está a solo 20-30 minutos en coche del centro de Bath y a 40 minutos del centro de Bristol. Stonehenge, la catedral de Wells, Longleat y Glastonbury están a poca distancia en coche.

Midsomer House está a pocos pasos del centro de Midsomer Norton, que cuenta con muchas cafeterías, bares, supermercados y tiendas. Hay un centro de ocio con piscina, gimnasio, canchas de squash, área de juegos exterior para niños y parque de patinaje de tamaño completo.

La casa en sí se divide en 2 plantas y cuenta con calefacción central, calefacción por suelo radiante y aire acondicionado.

El primer piso tiene 6 habitaciones dobles, compuestas de 2 x camas Super-Kingsize permanentes, 3 con la capacidad de ser camas gemelas o Super-Kingsize (a pedido), 1 x Kingsize permanente Se pueden suministrar otras camas para dormir hasta un máximo de 16, aunque estos son sofás cama (muy buena calidad).

La planta baja cuenta con 4 salas de recepción grandes, compuestas por un gran hall de entrada, salón trasero (con balcón de pizarra), salón delantero, cocina, sala de juegos (con bar y mesa de billar), utilidad (con instalaciones de lavado y secado).

Parte posterior: la cubierta superior (fuera de la sala de juegos) tiene una bañera de hidromasaje para ocho personas, con vistas al jardín y al valle, junto con una mesa de jardín y una ducha exterior.

Jardín: incluye un área de juegos, un trampolín, un estanque grande (elevado) de Koi, una casa de juegos y el Reno Lodge.

El Reindeer Lodge es una gran cabaña Inuit, con capacidad para 20 o 4 personas. En el medio hay un gran fuego abierto para cocinar (utensilios suministrados). Si no desea utilizar el fuego, se suministra un calentador eléctrico para mantenerlo caliente.

An ideal location for our get together celebrating 40years since we commenced our nurse training & friendship.A comfortable property with ample space and a real home from home feel.Excellent communication from our hosts, who responded promptly to all queries from the point of booking to checking out, and we're genuinely interested and concerned that everything was perfect for our stay.The bedrooms were extremely comfortable and we all slept very well.The showers could be a little temperamental but nothing we weren't able to overcome.The kitchen and dining area was ideal for our needs and a sociable space.We had a slight issue with the hot tub not heating to temperature which was successfully resolved when we contacted Brett & Niki. The hot tub was a little touch of luxury for the end of our stay.Midsomer House is on the main road through Midsomer Norton but we weren't really affected by road noise during our stay.The back garden, seating areas, Inuit Hut and hot tub were perfect entertaining, relaxation and socialising areas; importantly it was also very private.For us all it was a perfect stay. Thankyou.

Great stay in Midsomer Manor! House is a great size, we had 11 people in the house and it didn’t feel at all cramped or lacking in space. The house is clean, tidy with a little added extra of some essentials when we arrived. Kids absolutely loved the pool room, the addition of some kids toys, board games, books and DVD’s were a nice touch. Rooms were all large and spacious, towels a plenty and having two upstairs bathrooms was perfect for a large group of people. This house has everything you need for a home from home stay. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you for the stay

Super house

We are 5 families coming together for reunion. House was perfect for our needs, had everything you needed.Conservatory with pool table was a bonus as well as the Inuit hut.Garden is huge and lovely. Good location for what we needed.

We had a great stay with 4 generations of our family in this property. The house was well maintained and comfortable and the games room and hot tub helped to keep the younger members entertained. The location was great as it was possible to walk into town and we also had a great walk along the disused railway line to Radstock for a pub lunch. We had a few difficulties with the showers at first but Brett explained on the phone how to get them going. Also the property was on more of a main road than we expected but that wasn't a problem.

Great Space, Great Location, Good times

The property was great with lots of space, the pool table and the hot tub as well as the smoke house were fantastic and the pictures can't give you an idea of how big it is. The bedrooms were great and so was the kitchen and the living rooms, 5 star stay!

Not Quite as expected

The house upstairs was good with comfortable beds. downstairs space was as expected but the property is looking very tired and cleaning leaving a little to be desired. An example of this was when the oven was turned on the fumes from the oil left in the bottom created a terrible smeech hence we had to clean it before being able to use it again. Another potential problem is where the taps are switched across the property between Hot and Cold where Cold should be on the Right side, so it meant cold water could be drunk from the hot tap without knowing it before it got hot so the water was from the tank. The instructions for controlling the heating and how to put on the outside lights were not to be found, The Hot Tub was good and the parking.

Very spacious

Loads of room for everyone to have their own space. The kids loved the games room and hot tub. The nook in the garden is gorgeous and great for games night - watch out for the slippery decking though (when wet). It’s got everything you need and is great for pets. Would stay again.

Great for our needs

This property was a great place for our family get together. The Inuit house provided a perfect space for a BBQ in the rain. The hot tub and pool table was a nice addition. Would definitely recommend this property

Not what we expected per the listing

It was difficult to find --due to the small sign that was on the house--since no number is listed, plus it was on a very busy street, so it was a little bit loud at night. The house had a bad smell to it once we walked in--almost like a mold smell. The first upstairs bathroom leaked water so the bathmats were always soaked. We couldn't get the hot tub to warm up--so didn't really get to use that. The place was spacious and the backyard was a good size.

Enjoyable stay

Stay was enjoyed by all ages hot tub and pool table appreciated particularly by the youngsters only one thing we felt could be replaced were the tall stools in the conservatory. We felt they were unsafe and very rickety but had no reflection on our stay

A lovely stay with family

The stay was a lovely one. The property had everything we needed for a long weekend of relaxing with the family. No problems with check in or check out. I was able to communicate with the owner while there for a minor question - which they responded to very quickly!

Good property for a break with friends

Is a good house for a friend's meet-up. We had 10 of us and spent most of the day chatting and playing pool in the conservatory. The kitchen job was also a great shape and length for a poker game in the evening. A great location with restaurants and down a 5 min walk. I've already looked at availability and costs again, as we might use for a family break with other friends.

Perfect for multi generational family

This property lived up to expectations. Very spacious - the 2 reception rooms were great to give people space. Kitchen was spacious and plenty of crockery and glassware. Hot tub was great as was the pool table. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t brilliant to make use of the garden but the barbecue house was used. The family thoroughly enjoyed the weekend and the house is in a good location for exploring the area - only 15minutes to the Bath park and ride. Also the town is well served with supermarkets or food take always for those who don’t want to cook.

Spacious and Comfortable

Overall, everyone left very happy with the space for 8 adults and 2 children plus one infant. The host was excellent in Comms when required and all information was supplied that made everything as easy as possible. I would say for the price, you get exactly what you pay for.

Nice stay in a spacious and comfortable house

We had a nice stay at the Midsomer Manor! The owner was kind enough to supply a lot of information not only about the house, but also about safety, local shops, restaurants, and take aways.There even were suggestions about (child friendly) places to visit: we were able to enjoy some of them during our stay! The beds were very comfy. Several rooms had TV's and the children enjoyed playing with the toys that were provided. We had a bit of a problem with the front door and contacted the owner about it. He was quick to react and very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay!

April get together

Everything from a beginning to end was just so easy. The process of booking, checking in and leaving the property on Sunday. All of the facilities were an excellent addition to an already beautiful house. Everyone who stayed was full of compliments for the house and we would love to come back in the future.
