Absolutely Disappointing Stay – Zero Accountability from Management
I am utterly disappointed with my experience at this hotel. I specifically reserved a non-smoking room due to asthma, yet I was placed directly in front of the pool entrance where loud parties took place every night. Guests were smoking nonstop, and my entire room reeked of cigarettes to the point where I could barely breathe.
The air conditioning was broken, leaving me sweating all night. When I called the front desk for assistance, I was told to “just open the window”—which only made everything worse. It was raining heavily for two days, and opening the window let in humidity, moisture, and an overall damp, disgusting feeling throughout the room.
When I brought these issues to the attention of the staff, including Oscar at the front desk and the manager, Raul, I was assured that Raul would follow up and provide some form of compensation or solution for the inconvenience. He never followed up. No call, no discount, no acknowledgment—absolutely nothing.
For the amount of money I paid, this level of service is unacceptable. The staff not only failed to address serious health and comfort concerns, but actively avoided responsibility. I would strongly caution anyone considering staying here. This was one of the most uncomfortable and unprofessional hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
