  • Le Repaire des Amoureux is a Champagne-style house completely renovated on the outskirts of Bar sur Aube. This building located in the heart of a beautiful wooded park is ideal for lovers of peace, nature and the countryside.
    On the ground floor you will find a fully equipped open kitchen as well as a living room and a double bedroom overlooking the park. You will also have on this level a bathroom with shower and a separate toilet.
    Upstairs, you can also have two double bedrooms, one on the mezzanine closed by a double curtain and one in the master bedroom with open bathroom equipped with a large bathtub. On the landing, you will also have a separate toilet.
    Household linen (sheets, towels and swimming pool towels) is provided upon arrival.
    For your leisure, a private swimming pool equipped with deckchairs and parasol will be heated from May 1 to September 1.
    A large terrace adjoining the house will allow you to take your meals outside or stroll in a garden furniture!
    For any stay of a week minimum a bottle of Champagne from our Estate will be offered to you upon your arrival and you can also visit the two wine estates by appointment!
    We will also ask you for a deposit of 250 euros on arrival which will be returned to you before your departure.

Wir haben uns in dem sehr gut ausgestatteten wohlgefühlt. Der warme Pool war äußerst entspannend. Eine Champagner Probe im Wohnzimmer war nicht zu verachten. Die Vermieter haben stets schnell bei Fragen geholfen.

Excellent property. House was clean, well stocked kitchen, gass grill in garden. Clean pool (with cleaning bot) bed was good. We had a baby crib and baby chair. Nice garden and it was very quiet. Huge Leclerc was a 1 minuten drive for shopping. All and all a great place to stay if you like nice and quiet.The only "downside" is that the exterior of the house could use a paint job, but thats all there is to it and it didnt bother us at all.5/5 property.

Bar-sur-Aube gem in the heart of Champagne.

Superbly located property in easy walking distance of Bar sur Aube. Ideally situated within walking distance of at least 4 champagne houses. If you love Champagne this is the place for you. The property was more than ideal for the two of us with plenty of space to spread out; including on a beautifully appointed terrace. Great to have access to a bbq. Kind, sympathetic and generous owners. We loved it here and are already planning our return visit next year.

The pool and outdoor spaces were fabulous. Played lots of table tennis, had a BBQ and lots of time in the pool. Aircon a huge plus in scorching weather, especially at night. As one other review stated, the exterior of the house needs a little attention but it does look as if the property is being slowly refurbished. We are a family of five and inside eating was a little cramped because of the space in the kitchen, which is where the dining table is. Luckily we could eat outside most of the time on spacious (brand new) picnic tables on a big shaded terrace terrace. Can easily walk into town and many supermarkets are nearby. All in all a lovely week here.

Mooi huis, zalig zwembad

Zeer prettig huis voorzien van alle gemakken. De airco's waren erg prettig in de warme periode waarin wij er waren, maar ook de automatische rolluiken waren top. Houden de hitte overdag buiten en je slaapt in een lekker donkere slaapkamer. Opgemaakte bedden bij aankomst en ook extra dekbedden aanwezig (tweepersoons). Je moet zelf even een aankomsttijd doorgeven en dan staan Nathalie en Gilbert op je te wachten bij het huis. Ze hebben zelf een wijngaard een paar kilometer verderop, dus wonen ook in de buurt. Ze hadden uitgelegd hoe de zwembadstofzuiger werkt. Het is een kleine moeite om deze dagelijks even te water te laten en je krijgt er een fijn schoon zwembad voor terug :-) Er liggen ballen waar je gebruik van mag maken, er staat een tafeltennistafel compleet met batjes en balletjes en een volleybalnet. Genoeg te doen rondom huis dus en op een paar minuten rijden vind je supermarkten, restaurants en het pretpark Nigloland. Nathalie en Gilbert, bedankt voor een geweldig verblijf in jullie mooie huis!

If you want an authentic champagne experience this accommodation is in the perfect location. This was our second stay here so this should speak for itself. Easy walking distance to the small town of Bar sur Aube where you have ample places to buy bread and meats etc. also close by are a number of champagne houses offering tastings and again walking distance. The accommodation had a pool which was very welcome given the hot weather. Only slight disappointment was the absence of a barbecue. Would have been ideal. Other than that the accommodation was comfortable and more than adequate for our needs. This is not a gripe but the shower needs fixing!

Leuk huis, mooie omgeving.

Leuk, centraal gelegen huis. Dichtbij het centrum (restaurants, cafés ...). Prachtig verwarmd zwembad en een grote tuin. Kortom: alles is voorzien voor een leuke vakantie!

Wir haben uns alle sehr eohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und waren persönlich beim Ein-und Auschecken vor Ort. Es hat an nichts gefehlt, der Pool war sauber und gepflegt. Wir hatten eine super Woche in diesem Haus. Der Pool ist richtig toll und wurde ausgiebig genutzt. Ebenso der riesige Garten. Das Haus war sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die Küche könnte etwas besser ausgestattet sein.

Séjour au calme

Nous avons séjourné une semaine en famille dans ce cadre très reposant. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et disponibles. Bonne literie. La piscine est réellement chauffée avec un robot pour la nettoyer. L'extérieur est très agréable avec un grand jardin et une table de ping-pong ainsi qu'une superbe terrasse dont nous avons profité à tous les repas. Le petit plus par grosse chaleur : la climatisation. Nigloland à 13 mn, Lac d'Orient à 30 mn. Merci encore pour la bouteille de champagne offerte.

Perfect restful stay on the beautiful Champagne region

We were a family of four with children aged 11&9 returning from a skiing trip in the alps. This was the perfect place to stay for a few nights to break up the journey and for some down time. The kids loved the pool and the Easter egg hunt in the large garden. The property was well located and had everything you would need for a great stay. We had BBQ’s on the large terrace and read by the pool. The beds are really comfy and everywhere was very spacious. Thank you for a wonderful stay Nathalie and Gilbert, we are looking forward to enjoying your champagne with friends in England.

Schöner Urlaub

Das Ferienhaus, dass Nathalie und Gilbert zur Verfügung stellen ist wirklich großartig. Ein tolles Haus, ein riesiger Garten zum Verweilen, ein super Pool (alles genau wie auf den Fotos). Es hat einfach alles gestimmt und wir hatten einen wunderbaren, erholsamen Urlaub. Das Haus und das Gelände war prima für uns als Familie mit zwei Teenager-Jungs. Nathalie und Gilbert sind wirklich tolle Gastbegeber, die sofort zur Stelle sind, wenn man sie braucht. Danke für den schönen Urlaub.
