  • ¡Todo el encanto de antaño con la comodidad del siglo XXI! Gran porche de entrada con columnas, jardín inglés, deliciosa cena al aire libre. Amplias y encantadoras habitaciones, cocina del viejo mundo con campanas y silbatos, sala de desayunos soleada, despensa / bar de mayordomo de cobre con vinoteca, amplio vestíbulo con chimenea, sala de estar cómoda y tranquila, comedor para 10 personas con área de descanso, sala familiar / hogar teatro con baño desplegable seccional, 3/4 primer piso. Dos escaleras conducen a cuatro habitaciones, incluida la suite principal recientemente redecorada (cama king), otra habitación con una cama king, una con una cama queen (recientemente decorada y mejorada) y otra con dos gemelos. Hay una suite de cama doble adicional en el tercer piso, así como un generoso lavadero. Ubicación de pueblo codiciada: tranquila y agradable, pero a tiro de piedra de todas las actividades que puedas imaginar. ¡Puedes caminar a todas partes! Beautiful house, equipped with everything you need. Centrally located to shops, restaurants, and grocery store. Easy drive into Acadia or can take the shuttle. Excellent communication from host. We loved our stay and will definitely return!

Our group absolutely loved this home. Very spacious and had everything you would need for your week stay. The house was immaculate with so many cool rooms to explore. Communication with the host Kay, was excellent. The house manager, Dave, was always readily available and took care of any minor details we needed during our stay. The town of Bar Harbor was quaint, beautiful, and a very short walking distance into town. We would definitely visit again and would love to rent the same home.

Incredible location and property!

We loved this place! It was unique, beautiful, comfortable, and wonderfully furnished. Walkable. Great host. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend.

Lovely home in the heart of Bar Harbor. Spacious, warm and welcoming - perfect for our family getaway. We loved how walkable the location was, close to everything yet peaceful. The front porch was a favorite spot to relax. The owners were most accommodating and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend.

The location was perfect! We walked to dinner every night. The house is gorgeous and quirky with vintage details. Great size for 3 couples. The hosts were very easy to communicate with! 12/10!

Fabulous Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our well long stay in Bar Harbor. This beautiful home was fantastic! Very conveniently located downtown. You can walk to just about everything. Less than 10 minute drive to Acadia. Will definitely stay there again when we return!

Family trip

This big house had plenty of room for 9 adults. The house was very clean and the beds were nice. We were in walking distance to many things & the neighborhood was safe and quiet. Our hosts were very responsive prior to and during our stay.

Our stay was amazing!

We loved our stay at this large, historic home. The house was beautiful and clean and perfect for 4 adult friends. The location is amazing - walkable to the village. The front porch was a great spot for morning coffee or afternoon relaxation. The owner was easy to communicate with and there whenever I needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bar Harbor and at this spectacular home.

Once we entered the property we were all blown away at how beautiful and spacious it was. Our host left us a bottle of Cava and small welcome gift, very thoughtful. Everything was clean and in order. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook and entertain our family. I was pleasantly surprised at the proximity to Acadia NP and walking distance to the town shops and eateries. We will cherish the memories we had there.

Grand old house

Very well stocked. As an older house had to look for the light switches but figured it out. Lovely back family room with a piano. Very comfortable beds. Excellent location in town. Close to everything

Thanksgiving getaway

My family traveled to bar harbor for a Thanksgiving getaway. The location was ideal and within walking distance to everything downtown bar harbor. Kay was a wonderful host and responsive during our visit. The house was beautiful and spacious for our group of 9. She left us a lovely gift basket with lots of goodies we enjoyed. I would highly recommend this property.

Great house for staying in Acadia/Bar Harbor

Great location… in Bar Harbor and very close to Acadia. House is large and accommodating. Great front porch for sitting outside and relaxing. Owner/manager very available and responsive to questions. We would repeat.

Great location!

House was in a great spot and host was excellent with responsiveness and providing helpful information. The house has everything you need. It’s an old house so bathrooms and some aspects reflect that.

House was ready and clean when we checked in right after 5pm check-in time. There were plenty clean sheets, blankets and pillows for 11 of my family. There were many glasses, coffee cups, dishes, pots and pans. The house located at walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants and waterfront pier.

What a wonderful time we had staying here. Communication was easy breezy and David from housekeeping was great to work with. We had our grown children and 1 baby and close friends. Home was spacious and the floor plan was well laid out. The location was so central to everything which made walking with the baby carriage seamless. Thankful for Kay for opening her lovely home for all of us. Cheers

Great location, 1 block from the main street. The house is old, so that's good to keep in mind when you book it. There are some idiosyncrasies that go along with that, but this is a great place to rent for a large family. There were 5 bedrooms for our family of 8. We had plenty of hot water. Very comfortable sitting and dining areas. The kitchen was well equipped. Some of the light switches were odd. Our son is an electrician, and even he couldn't figure out how to turn off the overhead light in the library room. It was cool when we were there, so we didn't try the AC. There are helpful notes from the owner in several places in the house. It's a very short ride to the national park. The only issue we had was that the shower curtain in the main bedroom did not wrap completely around the tub, so that water could hit the wall and go on the floor. the property manager assured me that would be fixed. I would definitely stay here again.

The Best VRBO Ever

We have stayed in many VRBOs across the US. This was the best experience we have ever had. To a person in our group of 8, we wished we had stayed in the home our entire trip even if it meant not seeing other areas of the region. The host was generous with special touches, lovely artwork, fully appointed kitchen and room to gather and find privacy. Absolutely perfect!

Beautiful home and great location

Kay’s house is absolutely stunning. The decorating from the antiques to being mixed with fun fabrics and colors throughout the house. Very special place! Kay was excellent at communicating and even gave us some history on the house because we were so interested learning about their home. 5 minute walk to everything and short drive to the park!
