Precipice Tiny House at Acadia Yurts!

Downsize your stay-and upgrade your experience-by booking one of our two identical custom-built, self-contained Tiny Houses. Thoughtfully designed and perfectly efficient, each unit comfortably accommodates up to two guests with a cozy queen-sized bed and all the essentials you need for a relaxing getaway.

Inside, you'll find a modest kitchenette equipped with a ¾ refrigerator, apartment-size stove/oven, sink, cookware, and dishware-ideal for preparing simple meals after a day of exploring.

This Tiny House also includes a full bathroom with a stand-up shower (sink in kitchen), plus a heat pump/AC unit to keep you comfortable in any season. ALL linens also included!

Tiny living doesn't mean sacrificing comfort. These bright, modern spaces offer a peaceful and unique home base while you enjoy the beauty of Acadia National Park and Mount Desert Island.

The stay was incredibly amazing. The property owners had great trail recommendations and thought of everything to make the stay fantastic. Kitchen had all the supplies necessary to cook meals in! The property was perfectly maintained!

We loved this cute little tiny house retreat in Maine. We stayed here to visit the Acadia National Park and loved staying here on the quiet side of the island. The grounds were quiet and it was easy to come in and out as we pleased.

Lovely property and grounds. Host was very welcoming, left cards, a large book of suggestions, recommendations and thorough instructions. The tiny home was perfect and spacious for 2 adults. I would definitely stay again.

Tiny House Precipice

Would of liked to stay in a yurt/but we just happened ontothis VRBO and were fortunate to grab a cancellation timeslot. Ended up loving the spot. Seemed more secluded then the yurts. The owners thought of everything.(except a bathroom sink, but the kitchen sink is fine. Bed was comfortable. And the community sharing at the red barn was another thoughtful plus to the property. Great location for exploring the Acadia area. Book it ! You won't regret it.

Perfect Acadia Getaway :)

We stayed in the Precipice Tiny House for 4 nights and we loved it! It is only a half hour away from Bar Harbor and we liked all the amenities it had to offer. Will definitely have to check out the wellness center next time!

The Precipice tiny house was a perfect home base for our 3 days in Maine. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property is quiet and beautiful. It is a bit like camping, only way more comfortable. The owners were very responsive, checking in to make sure everything was ok. Highly recommend Acadia Yurts!

Perfect stay on the quiet side of MDI

We had everything we needed for a base camp as we visited a friend and of course spent most of our time exploring Acadia. This was the most economical place we could find and it was a score for sure. Hosts were on site most days and very helpful. Utilized the laundry facility where board games and extra kitchen items were supplied. Thanks for a great stay, we’ll be sure to come back! Cheers.

Cutest and comfiest tiny house!!

My partner and I LOVED our stay at Acadia Yurts!! It was the perfect place to have as a home base as we spent the week hiking and exploring the towns around us, perfectly quiet and peaceful which allowed us to very comfortably recharge. The tiny house we stayed in for the week was extremely clean and the hosts were super accommodating and responsive. The property really made our trip perfect, we are so grateful!

Beautiful spot and spotless tiny home!

Stayed three nights in the Precipice Tiny Home with a girlfriend of mine. The tiny home was spotless upon arrival and we both loved the high ceilings. Great layout for two people. Loved having coffee out front in the mornings. I’ve been coming to this area for 20 years and I would definitely recommend this property - it’s nice and quiet - amazing sleeps oh and the rain shower head was so nice that I took down the brand!
