"We loved our stay at Chiltern and would return. Dan welcomed us with wine,cheese, and song. He was quite helpful directing us throughout town as well as on our hikes at Acadia. Bar Harbor is a lovely town. We enjoyed the ocean side walk as well as lunch at The Terrace. It was nice to meet the other travelers and enjoy breakfast Only con for us was the heat in the bathroom. We also thought room would be cleaned as we stayed 2 nights but maybe that was a miscommunication. We recomend staying...

"It is a very confortable hotel with very nice and spacious room with view tothe harbour. It is very convenient for families sice there are swimmingpool and two playgrounds. The only disappointment was the breakfast: nothing was fresh made but everything in packages. By the way, we spent two pleasant days in the hotel."

"Beautiful inn and nice breakfast. Very helpful and hospitable hosts. Keep in mind that the bed in room 7 is quite small for a couple. The amenities, soaps and shampoos were tiny and not good quality. If those were upgraded, I would have given it a 5 star."
