Enjoy beautiful long-range mountain views from Grey Fox, just three miles from the slopes of Beech Mountain Ski Resort. Beech Mountain provides much for guests the entire year round. Breathtaking mountain views, hiking/biking/walking trails, ponds/creeks/streams for fishing and playing, concerts and other events throughout the year, and the Land of Oz when open. Beech Mountain is also conveniently close to downtown Banner Elk (less than 4 miles), Grandfather Mountain (about 10 miles), Sugar Mountain Ski Resort and Sugar Mountain Public Golf Club (about 8 miles), Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Zip Lines (about 15 miles), the village of Valle Crucis (about 12 miles), Tweetsie Railroad and Appalachian Ski Mountain (each about 25 miles), and both Boone & Blowing Rock (each about 22 miles).

Step inside from the covered front porch to the comfortable main-level living room with a leather sofa and recliner around the gas log fireplace, a TV, and big sliding glass doors looking over the mountains. The full kitchen has stainless appliances and granite countertops, with seating for nine at the dining table and kitchen bar combined. Enjoy grilling and dining on the main level deck with a Blue Ridge Mountain backdrop.

Three bedrooms are situated downstairs from the main level living area. The master bedroom has a king bed, TV, and an ensuite bathroom with sliding glass doors to the balcony. The queen bedroom on this level also has a TV and access to the deck with seating outside the sliding glass doors. A few steps down brings you to a spacious room with two double beds. There is also a shared full bathroom in the hallway on this lower level. The loft above the main level living area has two twin beds, a TV, and an air hockey game table. A mother-in-law suite is accessed through a separate basement entrance down the stairs to the left of the main front entrance. The mother-in-law suite has a full bathroom, TV, and a queen-size pull-out sofa bed. A spacious deck with a porch swing and an outdoor table and chairs overlooks the enclosed backyard and woods where kids and pets will enjoy playing.

Grey Fox includes a washer and dryer, wifi, and paid TV programming, providing all the comforts of home. Electric heat and mini-split a/c units will keep temperatures comfortable all year long. Two pets are welcome with a reservation, and additional pet fees will apply. Several cameras capture the entrances to Grey Fox. Guests are limited to three cars in the driveway, with space for a fourth in the garage. The HOA prohibits parking along the road, trailers and RV's. AWD/4WD are recommended for winter travelers.
