Great Location/100 yd. to lift, Club Member, Walk To Resort & Fire pit!

Relax and enjoy the mountains in our rustic meets modern design and the location can't be beat! We're right down from the snowboard terrain & less than 100 yards from chairlift #1. Great for not only winter activities but easy to walk to the Beech Mountain Resort village for concerts, biking or all the village has to offer!

You will have three floors featuring 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths. Perfect for multiple families! **Need more room...visit our other home, VRBO #902834. Which is on the same street!

The main level has an open concept with windows and decks overlooking the ski slopes/village; as well as the private master bedroom and bath. The great room has a 55" LG TV, plenty of seating, game area & a Pottery Barn kitchen table that extends to seat 10. The main level bedroom has a 49" LG TV and king bed. While the main level bath features a floor to ceiling custom built, walk-in and tiled shower.

On the upper level you will have two bedrooms (one with a king bed, the other is a twin over a double bunk bed) with a Jack and Jill full bathroom in the middle.

The lower level is an open concept living and bedroom area. Perfect for a small family or just the kids! There is a 55" Samsung TV with various gaming options. You will have twin bunk beds and a separate double bed close by. This area also has its own full size bath. There is an exterior door on this level that has direct walking paths to the slopes/Beech Mountain Resort. At the bottom of the path you will have easy access to board the chairlifts or walk over to the concerts, brewery, restaurants or mountain biking.

Our house comes with the ability to request Beech Mountain Club membership privileges (Beech Mountain Club access fees apply-currently only allowing a transfer of membership. Please inquire before booking, if wanting to use the club). The club has a gorgeous private 18-hole, ridge-top golf course with amazing mountain range views of North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. 10 clay tennis courts, outdoor heated swimming pool with a splash pad for the kids, pickleball and a wonderful fitness facility. These activities are seasonal. The Club's expansive recreation program covers everything from art classes to mountain hikes and provides wonderful dining options with breathtaking mountain views. From mid-June until August, you'll find age specific day camps and in the colder months there's a private ski lodge on the slopes of the Beech Mountain Resort.

Beech Mountain has a lot to do and there's always something happening in the area! Some notable events would include:
-Land of OZ's Journey with Dorothy (easy walk to the chairlifts/skip the driving)
-The long running Woolly Warm Festival
-Concerts every Sat. in the summer on the decks at 5506' Skybar as well as Mile High Yoga (a great way to start your day! Can also walk to chairlifts!)
-Beech Mountain Resort summer concern series (easy walk without having to drive)
-June is Family Fun month with different events each weekend.
-At nearby Grandfather Mountain you'll find the famous mile high swinging bridge & in the summer Grandfather Mountain Highland Games.
-Winery's are always fun, and two close options would be the Banner Elk Winery or Grandfather Mountain Winery. (both being family friendly)
-Beech Mountain Resort hosts mountain bike trails, lessons, disk golf & summer concerts in the summer. In the winter you can enjoy skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, the Beech Mountain Brewery, coffee shops, great restaurants, tubing, sledding as well as the Burton learn to ride center. (Easy walk to the Resort)
-Also very close to the Overlook Barn

Beech Mountain has so much to offer and you'll be right in the center of everything! We're located within walking distance to the slopes with seasonal mountain and slope views, minutes to numerous restaurants, bars, outdoor activities & one of our personal favorites, Fred's General Mercantile. Situated at approximately 5000 ft. allowing for perfectly cool summers and great winter skiing! Come, relax and enjoy your home away from home.

We had a great stay here! The house was so well-stocked and we had everything we needed. The location is perfect - very close to Fred’s, several restaurants, and multiple trailheads, but tucked away and peaceful. We walked to the ski slopes, where our kids ran around and played in the creek! We were here in summer, but I’d imagine this location is ideal for skiers given the proximity to the slopes. We also walked to Beech Mountain Brewery and enjoyed watching the mountain bikers come down the slopes! The host Jennifer was incredibly helpful and attentive - she provided tons of recommendations and helped facilitate us using her membership to the Beech Mountain Club while we were there. This was such a great place to stay - highly recommend!

Long Fourth of July weekend

Weather perfect , house well stocked and beds clean and comfortable . Plenty of Coffee and creamer there for first night and that was very nice ! Window air conditioning adequate but was warm sleeping at night . main level air conditioning cooled like it should . Convenient location to all things beech mtn. Overall great weekend getaway for 4 adults .

Beautiful Moutain Home!

We had the best time staying in Beech Moutain in this beautiful home. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. The home was right off one ski lift and very easily accessible. Our kids loved the Christmas tree and all of the fun kid items. It truly is a beautiful home and the owners were very responsive and kind. The home had everything we needed for a perfect stay. I would stay here again and again.

As the title indicates, it was a beautiful home! Extraordinary clean and comfortable. Cozy. An incredible value. The owner/management company responded immediately to my pre-arrival inquiries and very welcoming. Great, convenient location. In short, everything about this property was top notch from the towels to the bedding. We definitely plan to be returning!

Fun Family Birthday Weekend

The property was just a described. We wanted somewhere close to the village and it is was within walking distance. We enjoyed games around the dining room table, chess and checkers on the side table and a night by the fire. The house is close to the downtown area, banner elk winery, alpine coaster and let's not forget the ski lift to 5506 skybar. It was a great house to celebrate my birthday with family and friends. Very accomodating to our needs and we look forward to staying at this property in the future.

Quaint mountain stay

We enjoyed our time at Beech Mountain in the house by the slopes. The property was perfect for 2 families (family of 6 and family of 4). Kitchen was well stocked for preparing meals. The walk to the slopes was totally manageable. The beds were comfortable and the house was charmingly decorated. Highly recommended for a weekend family getaway!

Wonderful place to stay and ski

We had a wonderful experience staying here for a family ski trip. The house is updated and so cozy. It’s hard to find a place to stay that has such nice amenities. It’s refreshing to find a place that doesn’t look like they got all their furniture from Goodwill. We will stay again!

Beech Mountain

Great location to slops. Very short walk. We were able to take breaks off the slops and walk back to the house to eat lunch and dinner. Super cute house with VERY comfortable beds. We actually meant to look at what kind of mattress they had upstairs king. We forgot 😞. We wanted to get one for our home. I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect for Family Ski trip

The house was beautiful, very clean and awesome location! All appliances and fixtures were new, The beds were super comfortable, and all details were looked after. (Even down to both a traditional coffee pot AND Keurig which was a relief for our coffee lovers) Kitchen was updated and had everything you need to cook meals big or small. Was also pleasantly surprised by a new crock pot that kept our chili warm! The owner made everything so easy and was easy to contact. We had absolutely everything we needed for a family vacation of 4 adult couples and one baby. The space was large enough that 8 adults didn’t feel crowded but also cozy enough to prompt quality time together. This was a family ski trip and This house made perfect setting on the slopes right above one of the main lifts, making it easy to stop in for hot chocolate, lunch or flask refill; and those in the group that weren’t skiing could see us from the back porch. As experienced skiers We actually don’t prefer beech mountain slopes but this house totally made up for it and was perfect for the beginners in our family and made for great memories!! Hope to make this an annual family vacation!

This was exactly what I was hoping for! Great location, well stocked kitchen, nicely decorated and very comfortable. It was perfect for my son's first snowboarding trip. We will definitely be back next Winter.

THE BEST RENTAL EVER!!!

This is our second time renting this home and it gets better ever time! It is literally perfect! Always so clean and has everything. The beds are super comfy. The owner really goes the extra mile to make sure everything is just right! Jen is absolutely the best to deal with. We can’t wait until next year when we can get to go back to Beech Mountain!

Beautiful property

We had an excellent time! I would highly recommend. Clean, had everything we needed. Nice beds, bedding and towels. We went for a skiing trip at Beech mountain with our family of 5 (kids ages 6, 9, 12) and another family of 5 (kids ages 2, 10, 11). We had plenty of space for all of us. We were able to walk to the resort. You can see the ski lifts from the back porch.

Wonderful house and host

This house is exactly as pictured and perfect for a mountain getaway, especially if you are looking for close proximity to the slopes. The house itself is beautifully decorated, updated, and well maintained. The slopes are a just short walk down the steps from the back of the house. My 3 year old even made the walk to his snowboard lesson. Great views of the resort. Well equipped kitchen. Restaurants right up the street! On top of it, the host was so friendly and quick to respond! We couldn't have picked a better house or host for our Beech Mountain getaway!

Amazing!

Our family had such a wonderful time! The house is extremely well cared for and the property owner, Jennifer, is outstanding! I can’t say enough good about the owners! Due to a winter snow storm we almost didn’t get off the mountain, but Jennifer worked the problem with us and was so accommodating. The house is so close to the ski slopes and all the local attractions. We will certainly return to this property. Thank you for sharing your wonderful cabin with my family.
