This beautiful home sits high on a bluff with wonderful ocean views! With seven bedrooms, you'll have space for the whole family and even the family dog! Five of these bedrooms have private decks with beautiful views of the ocean. The spacious kitchen has plenty of room for the cooks to make group meals and treats for the whole gang! Perfect for family reunions, golf groups, or church retreats. This home is just a few steps from some of the most beautiful, unspoiled beaches on the West Coast. The nearest beach is only one block away!

With plenty of outdoor activities nearby that include horseback riding on the beach, fishing, and crabbing and a plethora of dining options (seafood, pizza, Asian food, Mexican food, etc.), the location of A Bandon Retreat is priceless! Downtown Bandon is three and a half miles north for even more entertainment and convenience stores. The highly-acclaimed Bandon Dunes Golf Resort is a short nine mile-drive north.

Lovely vacation spot

We have stayed at this property several times and have always been pleased with the cleanliness and great location. The walk to the beach is steep but very doable, even for small children and older adults. House is well equipped for a large group and every room has its' own bathroom -- much appreciated by all! The only area of concern is that the lawn area seems to have been invaded by goat's head thorns. We found them stuck in the carpet and in the dog's paw.

Great for Bandon Dunes golfers

7 bedrooms and 7 full baths, great views. There is an office with accommodations but we only had 6 golfers so it was perfect. Furniture is plentiful but old and outdated. Not very comfortable but not a deal breaker. Great views from each bedroom. No area behind the house to hang out outside but plenty in the house. We'd stay again, much cheaper than staying at Bandon and only 18 minutes (5 to downtown Bandon).

Great place

This is the second time we stayed at this house and we like it very much. It’s our family well it’s comfortable. The beds could use some memory foam because they’re a little bit firm way too firm but other than that it’s great. We like it very much.

Piece of Heaven

We love staying here and have done so twice. My family loves coming here. It would be great for a group of friends to get together there as well. The house is set up with everything you need. Two bedrooms have fireplaces, and four bedrooms have balconies that have views of the ocean.

Another great visit to Bandon

If you have a large group or a big family, this is one of the best places to stay in Bandon. With seven bedrooms and seven and a half baths, a large, well equipped kitchen and a great room with comfy couches and recliners,no one feels cramped. It's a short walk to the beach, though the first section is steep. We really appreciate that no strongly scented cleaning products or essential oil air fresheners are used to mask odors, though we did have one room this year that had a strong perfume smell, possibly from a previous occupant. The house is always very clean, with plenty of fresh towels and bathroom supplies. Next year's visit is already booked!

Septic Issue

There is a septic problem that kept us from allowing our grandson to play in the yard. The smell was terrible and we could see the sewage bubbling up in the back yard. I saw that this has been a problem in the past when looking at previous reviews. I incorrectly assumed that the problem had been fixed. I hope you get the issue resolved because this is a great property. We had a vey nice time.

Always a great place for a group

We have stayed at this house many times over the years. It is a great place for a group of senior couples. Or anybody, really. 7 bedrooms and 7 1/2 baths. Plus another room that can be a bedroom. We love it.

Nice place for a large group

Well apportioned kitchen including food wraps and spices. Nice large tv room, separate smaller game room and each room has a bathroom. If we needed a 7 room house at the beach again this will definately be a top choice.

Nice home kitchen had 2 towels and no dish rags. Oven door didnt shut. Some of the sliding doors didnt work. Garage door opener didnt work and couldnt park in it. The pictures made you think it was right on the beach.

Great place to stay!

This home was perfect for our group size. Each couple had their own room which included a full bathroom/shower for each. The location is perfect-short walk to one of Theo most beautiful beaches in Oregon! Would definitely stay here again.

Septic Nightmare

We’ve stayed here 3 different times now and the house and the location is great…..except this time, the septic was full and backing up into the backyard. The area and home wreaked of raw sewage! Imagine trying to eat or sleep and smelling that constantly. Customer service was extremely unaccommodating and would only acknowledge the issue. BEWARE.

Great Stay

Had a small group of friends at this house and our stay was great. There is no children amenities such as pack n play or highchair. These might be nice additions! Overall the cleanliness, kitchen accessories, layout, rooms/bathrooms worked well.

Bedrooms are hotel-like. It was nice not sharing a bathroom. Common areas had plenty of space to accommodate everyone. Kitchen had all the necessary items for cooking meals and baking goodies. Property manager was very responsive. Easy walk to beach access. Short drive to Bandon.

Perfect for a large group

This is the third year we have stayed at A Bandon Retreat and it was an overall great experience. Well stocked kitchen, very clean and room (and bathrooms!) for our large family group. It is a short hike to the beach (be aware that portions of the access trail are steep) and a short drive to Bandon. The fan in the toilet room of the Galway suite didn't work and the towel bar in the Kerry room was loose but other than that everything was well maintained. Oh and the gas cooktop needs to be manually lit -- easy to do but some signage to that effect might be good. Hope to return next year!
