Be one of the first to enjoy this just-built 5BR/5.5BA Bald Head Island Oceanview Executive beach house!

Down the planked drive of this recently-built three-story sparkler, you'll find two garages (housing three Bintelli golf carts available for guest usage-two four-passenger carts and a six-passenger cart) as well as the outdoor shower and entree to the home's kid suite/rec room. This area, with its own large full bath, is furnished with two bunks and is the perfect place for lounging, game-playing, and movie-watching.

Upstairs, the next level features this reverse floor plan's main entrance-preceded by a deep beach-facing covered porch where you'll spend hours breathing in soothing briny breezes. Through the massive oak front door, you enter the foyer/library-a great spot for conversation or a quiet read. Beyond, this sunny level offers four bright, airy bedrooms. To the left, the King Owner's Suite occupies the entire end of the house. Its bays on both sides of the room flood the space with sunshine and its pampering ensuite spoils with its size, freestanding tub, and luxe marble shower. Down the hall is a sunlit Queen with its own ensuite. Next to it, a corner Queen bedroom provides access to the front porch and conveniently utilizes the full bath just outside its door. Another bright King corner suite not only indulges with an ensuite, but also delights with a private covered porch of its own. A laundry completes this floor.

The top level's generous, sun-drenched open floor plan, vaulted ceiling, and perimeter of windows spotlight jaw-dropping azure blue panoramas. The comfortable living area is accented by a ship-lapped wall holding the fireplace and built-ins. The adjacent, sizable dining space hosts a generous farm table and custom chandeliers. Savor meals and tranquil seascapes here or move your feast to the nearby house-length, ocean-facing covered porch and relish your treats al fresco. Back inside, the oversize, multi-chef kitchen boasts yards of quartz counters, stainless appliances, an island/breakfast bar, more jaw-dropping views and its own back sundeck! A half bath finishes this level's accoutrements. Located steps from a South Beach access, midway between the Island's two clubs, close to shops and restaurants, this professionally decorated haven includes WWP's 24/7 Rental Manager Assistance Line-which means you can reach needed help even after hours or on weekends. You'll find a stay at Cair Paravel divine! Cair Paravel is a Sunday to Sunday Rental in Peak Season.

Generally, good experience

For the most part, we were pleased with the property. The exception was the basement room and setup. We were without control over air conditioning for 4 days of the week due to the AC Unit missing remotes. Adding to the discomfort of the room was the musty, humid conditions requiring a constantly running dehumidifier. I felt bad for our guests assigned to that room, as the standard of their room was not on par with everyone else in the house. For the first four days, I repeatedly had to engage with the property manager and work-folks on hand to fix the broken door handle, golf cart charging issues, air conditioning out on the second floor, ongoing air conditioning issues on bottom floor and no towels for guest bedroom (which took three days to get). We understand that issues arise and worked hard to be patient. In general, we were pleased with our stay. With the price of this VRBO, our expectation was to have had fewer issues, quicker resolution and not to have to beg for air conditioning control on bottom floor regardless of problems that have previously existed with misplacement of the related remotes.

Perfect vacation

We had a great time at “The Castle”. The home was beautiful and had more than enough room for our family of 8, we didn’t even utilize the additional room downstairs which had 4 beds and a TV. The kitchen was well stocked and had any appliance you could imagine. The 2 dishwashers were a nice surprise, less time washing dishes and more time to enjoy the island. We enjoyed grilling out on the patio with the gas grill that was connected to the house gas line, meaning no hassles with tanks. The views of the ocean from the porch were outstanding. Beach access directly across the driveway was super convenient to walks on the beach. The golf carts were amazing! The only thing I can say that was a inconvenience about that house was the fact there was no elevator. We had a lot of large totes that made it challenging to carry up all of the stairs to each level, and with elederly folks it’s something I probably should have looked into. Overall, it was a phenomenal stay and I highly recommend it!
