Cozy outdoor living - 10-minute walk to harbor village and ferry terminal.

PLEASE NOTE, we do not offer membership to the clubs. If club access is a priority, this may not be for you. If morning coffee on the back porch, long walks on the beach, leisurely bike rides through the maritime forest, observing nature, or kayaking through the salt marsh is more your speed, look no further.

Creekside Cottage sits on the 6th hole of the BHI golf course and is in close proximity to the public creek access. Renters are provided bikes and kayaks to enjoy all that this location has to offer. Our home comes with 2 - 4 person golf carts.

We are a short 5-minute walk to the chapel and lighthouse. Harbor village restaurants are just beyond that. Several public beach accesses are only a 5-minute golf cart ride away.

Watch the world go by on the rocking chair front porch. Enjoy the expansive screened porch with peek-a-boo views of the golf course. There is a tri-fold window that opens between the porch and the gourmet kitchen which is perfect for entertaining when the weather is cooler. Living space is open, inviting, and tastefully decorated.

Our home is a short 10-minute walk to the ferry terminal and beach access #5. Because of the convenient location, it is easy to get to and from the ferry terminal without the need for the tram. Have someone in your party wait for luggage to unload while someone else retrieves the golf cart.

Time at the Beach

Overall, the property was great and just as described! Very clean and comfortable. It was very convenient to the harbor and the market. The golf carts were in really good shape and there was even an available trailer to pull our chairs and coolers. We had one issue and Keith was easy to work with and got it resolved.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. We loved the outdoor shower and it was super helpful that all the toiletries and soaps were available, The host ( Keith) was very responsive and helpful, which made the whole experience smooth and easy. We always love our time on Bald Head Island, and this home made it even better. We would definitely recommend staying here!

The Perfect House

Bald Head Island is such a special vacation spot - and this house was the perfect rental! Shared by two families with young kids, there was plenty of space for everyone! The house was SPOTLESS, beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and generously supplied!! I have never stayed in a rental so thoughtfully stocked - they had truly everything you’d need, especially in the kitchen and garage. Keith was easily reachable and helpful. This is a MUST stay spot!!

This was such a special place. The hosts thought of everything- the kitchen had everything you could need to cook meals, including spices, paper products, some pantry items, dish soap. Beds were really comfy and exactly as pictured. Linens were provided - clean and fresh. The house was spotless. Keith allowed us to drop our bags and have use of the gold carts when we got there earlier than expected. The beach chairs and toys and umbrella provided were a welcomed touch. We loved the outdoor shower and screen porch. No need to bring all that from home- they have it all! It was a great stay in an amazing place.

Truly home away from home; the layout and quality of this home is top notch for function and comfort. We had everything we needed at our fingertips, and the location was lovely for quick walks to Old Baldy/Harbor Village area and bike rides to the Market area or beach. Gorgeous Getaway

Creekside Cottage was the perfect getaway. It’s beautifully built and decorated, and the best stocked vacation home we’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen is very well-appointed with everything we needed and more. The Nespresso machine, coffee grinder, and drip machine served all of our tastes. The safety-conscious among us enjoyed that there were helmets for the bikes and life jackets for the kayaks. :) The location was great for getting to and from the ferry without the tram - a quick 10 minute walk to the ferry, restaurants, and shops - the lighthouse even closer, and the creek/kayaking spot basically across the street. The home itself is beautiful and the layout, furnishings, screened porch, outdoor shower, and linens were top notch. We’ve happily found our go-to spot and can’t wait to come back. Thank you for a much-needed escape!

Beautiful home with a good location, especially in a storm

This is a beautiful home that's as advertised. Our visit was severely impacted by a tropical storm that dropped 20 inches of rain in 24 hours. Trams were down for the week and many access roads were impassable. We had family that had to leave the island midweek for work and school. They were delayed a day, but because this home is near the harbor, we could get them there (a day late) and also get our stuff to the ferry terminal on Saturday, even without trams. Post storm, we could also access the main road after a couple of days (N. Bald Head Wynd & Federal ) that runs to the market and East Beach, even though virtually every other beach along S. Bald Head Wynd was inaccessible. The home is well appointed, with a great, well equipped kitchen, many extra towels, a beautiful large screened porch, kid approved bunk beds and generous toys, bikes etc in the garage. We had very good communication with the owner during the storm. We never lost power and didn't have any flooding, unlike many others.

Amazing home!!

This was an amazing home for our first stay in BHI!! We will stay in this home again and again! Beautifully clean, fully stocked for everything we need, and the hosts were easy to get in touch with before and during the stay.

Awesome Vacation Home

My family and I enjoyed the location of this house on the island. It is a private setting close to the ferry so you have the option to walk instead of using the tram for transportation, which is what we preferred to do. The house was clean and well stocked. The communication with the owner was easy and efficient. We would definitely stay here again.

Best week!

THIS HOME! WOW! I have rented many vacation homes and this one has to be in the top 5. The kitchen has everything you need and it is neat and organized. The living room, the outdoor porches, and bedrooms are comfy and spacious. The garage has everything you would need to play and enjoy the beach. The golf carts were in top working order. Thank you for thinking of everything in this rental so renters don’t have to! FIVE STARS in every way.

Family Vacay

Babe head has always been one of our families favorite destinations, and this home has everything we needed. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of beach stuff, multiple boogie boards, bikes, chairs, and kayaks. 2 great working golf carts. Home is beautiful and very comfortable! Host very accommodating. Would come back again in a heartbeat!

Great beach vacation

The property was exactly as described and even nicer than photos. We really enjoyed that the house was surrounded by lush trees and shade. Easy access to multiple beautiful beaches as well as restaurants and shops. We loved riding bikes around the island!

The house was beautiful, amenities were perfect, we loved having meals in the screened in porch . The outdoor shower was super convenient for hosing off kids . The location was convenient to the beach , the marina , to shops and restaurants on the island. Keith was a great host , very patient and helpful throughout our stay. 12/10 BEST experience EVER in a VRBO

This property is amazing in so many ways. First of all the communication with the host/owner/manager is top notch. Recommendations were provided, questions answered VERY quickly before and during the trip, tips provided to make things easier, etc. You can tell the owner/host wants you to have the best experience possible. Second, the home itself. It is gorgeous in pictures but they really don't do the home justice. It is brand new, super clean, basically perfect. I felt like I was in my own home. Everything was there, for cooking meals, having fun outside like kayaks with life vests and bikes. The golf carts are MUCH nicer than many on the island, especially the enclosed one which was super nice in rain and wind. The outdoor area is amazing where you can fully dine, relax on the settee from the living area or the master. Towels, beach towels, hand soap, all details provided. The appliances are brand new and high end, we cooked all meals but one since it's not in season yet and not much was open. The front porch has great big chairs for morning coffee and the back is perfect for dinner, snacks and wine. The layout of the home is great for people who want to take kids/family/teens but have some personal space as well. The master is very large with a desk, sitting area (chair), huge TV and access to the screen porch. The other two bedrooms are upstairs and provide sleeping for 5 with a very large bathroom. We prefer a location on the island with the palms and trees, some sun and some privacy and this home is perfect for that. It is very close to the creek access for the kayaks, we had three 5'1 women/teens about 110 lbs. and could easily get the kayaks there with the provided trolley. Also very close to the marina, shops, a coffee shop, a restaurant and a pizza place, along with the lighthouse and beach accesses. I don't think we will ever look for a different home to stay in on BHI again! Amazing experience for 4 nights!

Wonderful home, wonderful location and wonderful time!

This property is incredible! It is brand new, extremely clean and in a fantastic location. The home has all of the ammenities you would need for a long or short stay including two golf carts, beach toys/chairs, bikes. Inside is no different, it is well stocked to cook and make anything you would want. We loved our time sitting on the screened in porch, watching the golfers go by and enjoying the comfortable space. We can't say enough good things about both the home and the property owners. They were responsive, even asking if we had any questions as they remembered it was a first visit. We will definitely be back!

Great house & location

What a great kitchen fully stocked with all you would need. Loved that you offer trash bags, zip locks, plenty storage containers- that really makes happy! Your home was very welcoming And we enjoyed our short stay. Spring/summer will be awesome with the excellent location!
