"The room was very small for a twin/2 people and nowhere to put suitcases. It was very very hot and the fan didn’t work in the bathroom nor did the window open. There was a fan in the room however! Nice breakfast and staff were lovely."

"Hotel reception is lovely, unfortunately the wing we had been placed in had a significant lack of Airconditioning ! Even though the room is advertised as having AC . When we arrived the room was at 30°c ! We turned on the AC and promptly left the room to cool down ! We returned at 11pm expecting to have a nicely cooled room only to find the room was still 30°c ! With no Airconditioning coming out the vent! At this point the fan was set up at the window which doesn't really open, presumably so...

"Really beautiful old hotel. We stayed in room 22. Second floor. There is no lift here. Not much of a view just roof but it kept the hot sun out. Comfy bed, lovely bathroom. Not much in the way of milk etc but there is a cupboard in the foyer for extras. No housekeeping in the 3 nights but again you can e.mail for more towels. Fan was pathetic, luckily having read reviews I brought my own. TV , iPod dock and WiFi. No on site staff but actually we were able to speak to two people. Self check in....

The service in the restaurant was very friendly but extremely slow. The food was rather mediocre. Breakfast was actually quite poor. There was barely a tablespoon of yogurt with the granola, and the toast was cold and hard like rusk. The location itself is beautiful."

The staff in the bar, restaurant and hotel were all very nice and happy to help in any request that we had.
