"Perched atop a hill, overlooking Lake Arenal and a lush valley, this estate was exactly what we were looking for. It is large enough to accommodate your party of up to 20 people, although we enjoyed having the entire place to our family of four to explore. The ornate details throughout the home remind you that this is authentic Latin American architecture. The pool house is nice and includes a deep pool, jacuzzi, weights, and table games. "Great spot to land and really get away from the majority of tourists. Local restaurants are cheaper, people are happier and it is not that far to all things Arenal. The house was great and property manager responded quickly when we had questions. Only thing is there is just one gate code, doors take a bit to get used to lock and unlock and house is 4th one on the left. But those are just minor things. "

"The villa is just as described and the location is cool. We spent days exploring the area, late afternoons cooling off in the pool and evenings watching the sunset. The walk down to the river is easy and we spent an afternoon hanging out there and swimming in the water. As others have said, there is still a lot of construction happening on the property and when complete the place will be fantastic. For now, there are no other amenities like a restaurant or spa on site but they are building...
