"Wir waren 2 Nächte im Schlosshotel. Als erstes ist uns das sehr schöne Ambiente aufgefallen. Es ist alles im Stil eines Landhaus eingerichtet. Sehr sauber und romantsich. Die Lage ist super direkt am Schloß und am Fluß. Wenn Abend die Tagestouristen gegangen sind herrscht ein idyllische Ruhe. Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich und lecker."

The owners are very friendly and eager to make your stay enjoyable. They own and operate an ice cream shop and restaurant with typical German food options adjacent to the hotel. "My stay was nice without any problem. Hotel is located a bit far from evening attraction but provides ferry tickets for each day in order to get to the other side of Elba river and Bad Schandau. "

"Das Hotel befindet sich am Ortsrand von Hohenstein, daher ruhige Lage. Die gebuchten Zimmer waren sauber und praktisch eingerichtet. das Personal war hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Das Essen war ausreichen und vielseitig, ei ziges Manko die Brötchen zum Frühstück ließen zu wünschen übrig, keine Bäcker- Brötchen"

"Do not chose this hotel if you are traveling during the hot months, there is no Air conditioning nor Ice machines, all other services are fine, clean, location, etc.; but once again, in the sommer is really a nightmare with temperatures above 30 Celsius, be careful."
